  • Indian Navy gets 2nd indigenous anti-submarine warship 'Kadmatt'.

Seven friends, viz Manjit, Naveen, Parul, Hitesh, Tarun, Raghu and Sahil, are pursuing their PhD in different subjects Maths, History , Political Science, Chemistry , Economic, Accounts and Geography , but not necessarily in the same order .   • West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra, who is allegedly involved in Saradha chit fund scam, resigned today.

  • 7th Pay Commission has submitted its report to the Government.
    • The Commission headed by Justice AK Mathur submitted report to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at his residence in New Delhi.
    • The Commission was set up in February last year to revise remuneration of about 48 lakh central government employees and 55 lakh pensioners.
    • Its recommendations will also have a bearing on the salaries of the state government staff.
  • The Cabinet has approved the long-awaited Interest subvention scheme.
    • This scheme will allow exporters, mostly in the labour-intensive and small and medium sectors, to avail of loans from banks at a 3 per cent lower rate.
    • This scheme will be applicable from April 1, 2015.
    • The financial implication of the scheme is estimated to be in the range of Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 2,700 crore per year, an official statement said.

  • Russia’s anti-doping agency (RUSADA) was suspended by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), raising the possibility of Russian track stars being barred from the Olympics if the country does not fall back into line with accepted international rules.

They gave us an A4 sheet and told to write about anything 10 Lines in the language which we mentioned in the application form (other than English)..
Then biometric verification follwed by
certificate verification..better bring degree certificate (there were some issue for others not brngng degree certificate)
.tats it..
They took us to the interview room…
I entered the room @11 am…!

There wer e5 membrs..1 f & 4males..

International Affairs
  • Home Minister Rajnath Singh to embark on a 5-day visit to China on 19th November 2015.
    • During this visit, India and China will discuss ways to boost security ties especially on fighting cross border terror and smuggling of Chinese arms to militants in the northeast.
    • Important Note : This will be the first visit by an Indian Home Minister to China in a decade.
  • India and China today decided to deepen bilateral defence ties and maintain peace and tranquillity at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) besides strengthening cooperation against terror, including at the international level.
    • The decisions came after the meeting between a visiting 26 -member delegation led by General Fan Changlong, Vice-Chairman of China's powerful Central Military Commission (CMC) and the Indian side, which was headed by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.
    • Note : This is the highest-level Chinese defence delegation to visit India in recent years.
  • France and Russia bombed Islamic State targets in Syria today, punishing the group for attacks in Paris and against a Russian airliner that together killed 353 people, and made the first tentative steps toward a possible military alliance.
