SSC CGL 2013 Re-Examination Centers Details

Friends, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled the SSC CGL 2013 Exam for the centers  Lucknow, Patna, Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Shimla and Dehradun. As you know, the organization has conducted Tier I exam on 21st April 2013 and 19th May 2013 and the Tier II exam on 28th September 2013. But the Staff Selection Commission received a lot of reports claiming that the above mentioned centers used invalid materials during the examination. After a deep investigation, the organization has decided to cancel the exam and to conduct the re-exam on above mentioned centers. The SSC hasn't released the exam dates yet. It will announce the complete details soon.

Difference Between Dynamic Loading and Dynamic Linking

Dynamic loading is used to obtain better memory-space utilization. With dynamic loading a routine is not loaded until it is called. All routines are kept on disk in a re-locatable load format. The main program is loaded into memory and is executed. When a routine needs to call another routine, the calling routine first checks whether the other routine has been loaded or not. The re-allocatable linking loader is called to load the desired routine into memory and to update the program's address tables to reflect this change. Then, control is passed to the newly loaded routine. Loading with bad time dynamic link libraries takes a little longer since, the loader has more work to do, but it saves a lot of disk space that would have been wasted with duplicate copies of every module.

The concept of dynamic linking is similar to that of dynamic loading. Rather than loading is being postponed until execution time, linking is postponed. This feature is usually used with system libraries, such as language subroutine libraries. Without this facility, all programs on a system need to have a copy of their language library (or at least the routines referenced by the program) included in the executable image. This requirement wastes both disk space and main memory. With dynamic linking, a stub is included in the image for each library-routine reference. This stub is a small piece of code that indicates how to locate the appropriate memory-resident library routine, or how to load the library if the routine is not already present.

When this stub is executed, it checks whether the needed routine is already in memory. If the routine is not in memory, the program loads it into memory. Either way, the stub replaces itself with the address of the routine, and executes the routine. Thus, the next time that code segment is reached, the library routine is executed directly, incurring on cost for dynamic linking. Under this scheme, all processes that use a language library execute only one copy of the library code.

Almost all Telugu people know about the Nandi Awards. Frankly speaking, this is the only film award ceremony of A.P. from which we can get some questions in competitive exams (of course there are a number of private movie award functions like santhosham cine awards, maa movie awards, mirchi awards etc. But they are not so popular as they are claiming). Nandi Awards are famous because these awards are presented by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh for excellence in Telugu cinema, Telugu Theater, Telugu Television, and Life time achievements in Indian cinema etc. 

As all telugu people know, the "Nandi" means "Bull". This name came after the famous bull statue in the "Lepakshi". Nandi is a symbol of telugu culture. The Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri. Anam Ramnarayana Reddy has presented the budget for the financial year 2013-14 on 18th March 2013. He has presented a budget of Rs. 1,61,348 crores. This includes a non-Plan expenditure of Rs 1,01,926 crore and Plan expenditure of Rs 59,422 crore. Veteran Telugu Actor ANR Passes Away

One of the first generation actors of Tollywood (Telugu), Akkineni Nageshwara Rao  (20th September 1924 – 22nd January 2014), better known as ANR died of cancer today.  His portrayal of an alcoholic jilted lover in Telugu movie Devadasu based on the  Bengali Writer Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay's famous novel "Devdas" erected an everlasting monument to the famous Bengali character. Although that role was reprized by many in later years in several different languages, it prompted the famous Hindi actor Dilip Kumar to say, "there is only one Devdas, and that is Akkineni Nageswara Rao".

The Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held on 12th January 2014 at  Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California by the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) honoring the best of films and television shows of the year 2013. This was the 71st Golden Globe Award ceremony. The ceremony was broadcasted live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returning as hosts.
