IBPS PO Mains II Shift Review and Cut-offs

Hi This is Ram from Chennai. Today's exam, Reasoning became a "Talk of the town". Usually aptitude will be tougher than reasoning but this time, its a different story. Cut offs will be lesser than the PO IV exam. Cut off for reasoning would be around 7.5, QA around 9, GK around 14, Computer around 10, and English around 12. Overall cut off cant be guessed easily so, it can be in a band between 58 - 72 and certainly, it will not fall outside this.

I started with Computer, GA then moved to Reasoning. After started doing reasoning i feel very very difficult to attempt each and every question no Inequalitys, no directions,syllogisms high level, input/output tricky (i spent 12 mints for this but didn't find the solution) all questions are mostly from the puzzles. 

Difficulty Levels

• Computer - Easy,
• GA - Moderate,
• Reasoning - High level,
• Aptitude - moderate,
• English - moderate.

• According to the United Nations' recent report, the Asia Pacific region is the world's most disaster prone part.
• As per the organisation, the part needs regional cooperation to address cross boundary disasters since natural disasters have killed half a million people in Asia and the Pacific over the past decade.
• Important Points to Note
• In the last 10 years, the region has been struck by 1,625 disasters
• Disasters in Asia Pacific region accounted for 40 percent of the global total
• The report says that the region needs to spend more on adapting to climate change. The region also needs to prepare for more extreme weather and disaster risks
• Other disasters affecting the region include floods, tropical storms and droughts. The report calls them as 'silent killers'
• Over 1.4 billion people were affected by these incidents
• 90 percent of the world's seismic activity originates in the 'ring of fire' which is situated in the basin of the Pacific Ocean

SEBI Officer Grade A Exam (General Stream) Review

Many may not be knowing much about this exam which was held on 11.10.2015!! But im just sharing this so tat u can get some idea & also the future aspirants since I found it difficult 2 know abt this exam when I started preparing for it!!  First of all it was not like a sebi exam,  It was just like a bank exam as I couldn’t find not even a single question regarding Sebi in it!!   I felt it was of easy/moderate level only since a few clerk level  questions like coding & Decoding, Approximation,etc.. were asked..  Just like Sbi PO it had 4 sections Quans, Reasoning, English & General Awareness wit wit 50 ques each.. Now lets look into section-wise analysis based on wat I could remember :-)
