Good news friends, the much awaited notification of SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2014 (SSC CGL 2014) is out. The exam will be held on 27th April 2014 and 4th May 2014. You can apply online from 18th January 2014 to 14th February 2014 (24th February 2014). You can apply online from official SSC websites http://ssconline.nic.in. AND http://ssconline2.gov.in. Check remaining details below. All the Best :)

Qualification : Any Graduate

Important Dates :
  • Starting Date of Online Application : 18th January 2014
  • Closing Date of Online Application : 14th February 2014
  • Date of SSC CGL 2014 Examination  
    • 27.04.2014
    • 04.05.2014 
Exam Pattern :
  • The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:
    • Tier -I - Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
    • Tier -II - Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
    • Tier -III - Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test / Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification

Application Fee : 
  • Rs 100/- (Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted
    from paying application fee )

Detailed Syllabus of SSC CGL Exam 2014 :

  • The test will be of Objective Type. Question paper will be in Hindi and English.
  • There will be 200 questions for 200 marks 
  • Duration of the exam is 2 hours
  • There are 4 sections in the exam Carrying Equal Number of Question/ Marks (50)
  • Negative Marking  (0.25 marks for every wrong answer) will be there

    i have done bsc biotechnology...am i eligible for the post of Assistant in css/Intelligence Bureau/Ministry of Railway/Ministry of External Affairs or for the post of upper division clerk? Is there any computer certificate required for CPT as i have studied computer only as optional subject in graduation?

      u might get the job of sub inspector in cbi, accountant, tax assistant, assistant in css, compiler, auditor, or jobs in ministry of railway/external affaits deptt, inspector in incom tax deptt etc

      For Statistical Investigator Gr.II age should Not be exceeding 26 years (He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1988)
      I guess the lower age limit is 18 yrs.

    bt no more mail or any thing 4m d bank..

    One suggestion from my side is that don't get panic and fill your form CAREFULLY......no need to be in a hurry.......READ the notification thoroughly........prepare your choice of preferences in advance.............Have your recent photos and sign. ready..........and ALL THE BEST......................smile :)

      yeah no state preference dis tym...itz written Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India i.e. all these posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL)

    Hi All! I need a help from you. Whenever I try to fill application form for SSC exam through online. I am getting error that "netscape is not supported. Please use IE or Opera". I am unable to apply for it. I also tried in different browsers still the same error.. can anyone help me please

    Hi Friends! Those who have problem to fill the form. Open IE go to settings - Compatibility View Settings - add nic.in and then uncheck boxes there. It will work. I also had this problem , It worked for me. Try it

    I have applied for SSC CGL 2014, however i have one doubt that is, my eyesight is weak for one eye, if i apply for those post which requires physical too,i have applied for the same, and if somehow i don t fulfill (not sure till now) , and reject in physical, will my candidature be cancelled for all other posts too, like in external affairs and for other criteria ,,, please reply my query as soon as possible sir
