Hindu Editorial Topic 1 : "A chance in Srinagar: On Ramzan ceasefire"
- Ceasefire - an agreement to stop fighting for a period of time, especially in order to discuss permanent peace
- Cessation - an end to something
- Retaliate - to do something harmful or unpleasant to someone because they have done something harmful or unpleasant to you
- Essential - completely necessary
- Respite - a short period of rest from having to deal with a difficult or unpleasant situation
- Valley - a low area of land between mountains or hills, usually with a river flowing through it

- Concern - a feeling of worry about something, especially one that a lot of people have about an important issue
- Revive - to make someone / something become conscious or alive again
- Neck-deep - deeply involved
- Desperate - very worried and angry because you do not know how to deal with an unpleasant situation
- Obvious - clear to almost anyone
- Haunt - to make someone feel worried and upset for a long time
- Healing - the process of becoming healthy again, or recovering from an unhappy experience
- Look forward to - to feel happy and excited about something that is going to happen
- Overwhelming - much larger, stronger, more important etc than anything else in a situation
