Sushri Anusuiya Uikey is the new Governor of Chhattisgarh

President Ram Nath Kovind today appointed Sushri Anusuiya Uikey as the new Governor of Chhattisgarh. She is going to replace present Governor Anandiben Patel who took office (Additional Charge) on 15th August 2018. With this Sushri becomes the 6th Governor of Chhattisgarh.

Along with Chhattisgarh Kovind also appointed Biswabhusan Harichandan as the new Governor of Andhra Pradesh.Yesterday he appointed Acharya Devvrat and Kalraj Mishra as the new Governors of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh respectively.
