The pattern of exam was different thn typical bank exams..as this exam only consist of four sections and there were no questions related to computers.
Only four sections were there.the exam was of difficult level..except english all other sections were difficult and time consuming.
General Awarness : this section was of moderate level..miostly questions from finance and current financial topics and for a surprise this section was also full of questions related to sports..only 10 15 questions were from general current affairs...rest all were related to finance and insurance sector and current sports affairs..
some of the questions were..
Reasoning : only few easy questions were there...rest all were indirect questions..means u have to decode the questions first and then have to find the answers...
one inward outward circular seating arrangement were there which was easy but time consuming...and two lengthy puzzles and data sufficiency questions which was very time consuming were there..syllogism and mathematical operations were of easy level.
Quantative Aptitude : The main villain of the exam...four DI questions like PO exam but three times more calculative questions then PO exam...no series questions were there I guess but I am not sure as I couldn't manage to view last 6 questions in quant...This section was difficult among all other sections because all questions here were time consuming and very lengthy questions except One Pie Chart DI which I find easy.
Overall exam was on difficult side and as vaccancies are few you have to target high score and have to increase speed to score good in quant and reasoning. And do read all the daily updates for last two month on gr8ambitionz to prepare GA section. All the Best :)

GA too much business and ecnomics related question but one should prepare for it .So no offence.Exam was not easy it needs good preparation.

ReplyDeleteAttended mechanical paper in morning session.. Rather than questions from mechanical, most questions were from basic physics n electronics.. Mechanical questions were quite easy.. basic concepts only.. I attempted around 40.. But quants was so time consuming. Attended only 22 even though I allocated around 40 min for tat.. Reasoning was very interesting.. Though wasn't able to complete it.. GK was a bit tough.. English was ok..

ReplyDeleteCut off is unpredictable. I felt that it was easy and i managed to attend 191 ques. and left 9 ques. in aptitude.
ReplyDeleteI bought 500. Its worth to try. Score is immediately displayed after your final submission of test. But comparision and complete paper is displayed within a week.

ReplyDeleteFROM UR MARKS I OBSERVE IS THAT. U R GOOD IN G.A AND C.A. IN IPBS PO C.A SECTION IS VERY EASY. THEN DNT CONSIDER IT.FOCUSING ON G.A U SCORE A GOOD ONE. BUT IN ENGLISH AND QUAN U HAVE SPEND SOME TIME. IF U ATTEMPT 20 IN QUANT..U HAVE GET 20 MARKS. THAT MEANS U HAVE IMPROVE ACCURACY. THAT WHY I AM ASKING HOW MANY U ATTEMPT.7 IS VERY BAD SCORE IN QUANT. BUT IN ENGLISH IT IS NOT A VERY BAD SCORE.IN REASONING SECTION ALSO U HAVE TO IMPROVE.23 IS NOT A VERY GOOD MARK IN REASONING. 30 PLUS IS GOOD ONE. ONE THIS I SUGGEST TO YOU IS BE ACCURATE WAT U ARE DOING. IF U ATTEMPT ONE THING. U HAVE TO DONE IT IN A RIGHT WAY. ALL THE BEST.
