70th Emmy Awards Winners List 2018

Honoring the excellence in the U.S. prime time television programming from 1st June 2017 to 31st May2018, the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards 2018 ceremony was recently held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The ceremony was hosted by American stand-up comedians, actors, and writers, Michael Che and Colin Jost.

Welsh actor Matthew Rhys has won the Best Actor Emmy Award in Drama category, for his performance in the long-running series The Americans.  Claire Foy has won the Best Actress, Drama award for "The Crown". Amazon's Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won 5 awards, including for comedy series, two for showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino in the writing and directing categories, and honors for Rachel Brosnahan in the lead actor category and Alex Borstein in the supporting actor category. FX's The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story claimed three honors, for best limited series as well as lead actor Darren Criss and directing in a limited series for Ryan Murphy.
