President Ram Nath Kovind today made crucial appointments of governors to 5 states today. The states of Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Assam and Meghalaya got new governors. Tamil Nadu got its first full-time Governor in a year amid the continuing political crisis. Andaman and Nicobar Islands, a union territory, also got a new governor. Madhya Pradesh and Telangana remain under additional charge of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh governors respectively. Here is the list :
