Hello friends !! My name is PO ( With lot of Patience )

I have finally selected as UCO bank – PO and BOI – Clerk after a lot of ups and downs.

I have started bank preparation in the year 2013 august but actual preparation was from april 2014 after sbi po notification . I am a commerce graduate , and in my CA finals. I have shifted to competitive exams as I fell sick in march 2013 , I was hospitalized for 15 days and then around 6 months of complete restriction . I was weak at that time and lost 15 kg in the meantime. So after that I was not in a position to again start from zero for my finals.

I completed my CA inter in 2010 and tried to some extent but till 2013 I was unable to concentrate and focus in my finals and never I was in a 50% preparation to give atleast exams. And after august 2013 I have reached to a stage where my basics in my core subjects also I have forgotten i.e I am at ZERO level for finals. So I decided and took a step towards competitive exams .

In 2013 I hv jst made my mind and given ibps po and ibps rrb po and clerk exams but could not clear ibps po and 119 , 120 in rrb po and clerk for which I didn’t received any interview calls.

Then in april 2014 I hv joined crash course for sbi po where I have learnt some chapters where I was weak and practice sets I usually do in the coaching institute which helped me a lot . In 2 months time I cleared all basic concepts and was prepared for exams.
  • 1st exam – SBI po – qualified finally not shortlisted ( written score – 122 int – 30 )
  • 2nd exam – BOB manipal – qualified but not finally shortlisted ( written score – 97 int – 13)
  • 3rd  exam – sbi clerk – qualified but didn’t gave interview ( written score – 138 ){ I didn’t attend the interview for two reasons – i) as ibps clerical exam was on the next day ii) I was not confident of my marks and again I don’t want to hear not shortlisted in final list )
  • 4th exam – RRB po – qualified no interview till now ( written score – 145 )
  • 5th exam – RBI assistant – not qualified ( score – 144 )
  • 6th exam – IBPS po – qualified and selected in uco bank – po ( written score – 115 int – 68 )
  • 7th exam – SBI asso po – results awaited
  • 8th exam – IBPS clerk – qualified and selected in BOI – clerk ( written score – 155 int – 70)
  • 9th exam – UIIC  ao – qualified BUT AGIN not finally shortlisted
  • 10th exam – NIACL ao – not qualified
  • 11th exam – NABARD grade A – selected for stage 2
  • 12th exam – NICL ao
I had given my exam details so that we all should analyze our lacuna and try to overcome it in next exam. Consistency and improve your weak points .

After a long wait and at the age of 26yrs and 5months I got success. There was a lot of hurdles ( 3 major hurdles my health issue in 2013 , some medical problem since schooling , and my father is a Vision impaired person since 1992 but continued his job well till 2013 and then retired { but I m still happy what we hav got . I am  a down to earth person and my parents also accepted without any sorrow for what situation we have gone through as it is part and partial of our life. ) in my life but still I somehow concentrated and managed to clear the exams only because of 3 reasons – i) ALMIGHTY GOD and MY PARENTS support ii) MY GF’s support who always motivated me even though she could not clear any exams the same exams which I have given. She is  a better student in academic curriculum but due to certain situations some cannot reach their desired dream. iii) Gr8ambitionz and some other banking sites which help me a lot to score well in General awareness section.

At last before concluding I would like to suggest some opinion to my dear friends –
i)    Never ever give up whatever  may be the situation
ii)    Try to accept those things what u get
iii)    Never compare yourself wth anyone
iv)    And last point regarding studies – give equal importance to each subjects and try to maximize in your strength points . You may not study for 10 hrs but when u study it should be with complete focus . It may be for 3 hrs also.
