After leaving the college, didn't know where to start, how to start... No job in on-campus placement, so only exam I found to apply was IBPS CLERK 3... during preparation days, got two jobs in back to back two days(Cognizant & IBM)... So felt like no need to study now... Got a glamorous job.. So after spending 3 months at home, Joined Cognizant in 22 Nov,2013... As I have applied for Clerk earlier, so I had to give it..
But at the end of December, 13 when results came I found that I am selected for interview... Basically that time I had no idea, what is about score... I thought as I cleared written exam so I have a definite chance to get selected if I give interview very well... When scores were out, I was stuck at 108 (Though cut-off was 105 for W.B)...As I did not get proper time to prepare for interview as I was working for Cognizant... So I thought to leave it so that I can utilize the full day for interview preparation.. But you know, Family, relatives, G.frnd never agree with your decisions... They told when you get it, then you will leave your current job... But I went against everyone, left the job, didn't join IBM & gave interview for Clerk 3...
So at that time, I was completely relying on getting selected as I had no other options.. But as I didn't have any idea that time about safe scores in competitive exams, so it was obvious that I should not be selected.. & It happened the same in reality... Within 6 months, Two top most MNC jobs to jobless... a huge transformation, though I didn't feel low.. I felt I have to start from the scratch again....May be in next year I will get it... As Cgl 2014 was postponed so basically no exam for me...
Living boring life again, watching movies, surfing net... Parents got angry with my foolish decision of leaving two private jobs just for the clerk... Everyone was saying why you have chosen clerk compare to those MNC's?? there was nothing to do except listening to them, & It was high time to prove myself right or in the next year (2015) I have to work in Sales/BPO type (No MNC will take me as passed out 2 years ago & with zero experience)...But I always have that belief I can crack it anyhow, atleast a exam this year... After spending 2-3 months, gave SBI Clerk 14, after giving it I felt that I need to study more... This is not just enough to stay on the track to compete with others...
As I am comfortable enough in Maths & Reasoning... But compare to this I was literally weak in G.k, Current Affairs, Computer, English (a little bit)... Then I found Gr8ambitionz website which helped me a lot during those days with their current affairs pdf... I started to feel comfortable in it after reading those pdf's...
In other areas,
English- Solved a paper daily
Reasoning- Solving 10-15 questions daily
Computer- read around 1 hour daily..
With all kind of material help from Gr8ambitionz gave all the following exams. (Didn't feel to join any coaching institute when quality study materials come to you for free)
I think I have not got much but whatever exams I have cracked that's because of providing me such good materials by Gr8ambitionz. What I found interesting that they have provided the material to the point, in a very concise manner so that It can attract a reader's mind.. that's something different from others...
So being a unreserved candidate, I got & what I missed...
- SBI Clerk- Missed by 5 marks(Cut off 131)
- RRB PO- 123 (Though missed by 1 mark in individual cut off in Computer section)
- RRB Clerk-155(Interview has not occurred)
- RBI Assistant- Missed by 6(Cut off was 160)
- Postal Assistant- Got
- CGL Tier1- Missed by 1.25 marks(Cut off 96.5)
- UIIC AO- Not selected
- IBPS PO- Got in Canara
- IBPS Clerk- Reserve list due to 0.2 marks(Min score was 73 in W.B)
That's for all.. Still not decided out of these two, where to join...Now parents got satisfied, G.frnd is happy...Finally I heard You were right,
