I am Shyamsundar form Karnataka, I would like to share my RBI Assistant Exam (dated 23-09-2014) experience with you, Hope it helps all the aspirants.

Sectional wise Analysis:

GA: Easy to Moderate

Questions:
  • Author of book "Revolution 2020" - Chetan Bhagat
  • "Windhoek" is the capital city of - Namibia
  • Currency of Pakistan - "Rupee"
  • Meghalaya Capital - "Shillong"
  • IIMs - 4 given and asked for the 5th "Chattisgarh"
  • Krishnaraja sagar reservoir in - Karnataka on Cauvery river
  • ARC - full form - Asset Reconstruction company
  • another question on budget ie., 100 crore
  • loss incurred for railway per passenger in paise - 23p
  • few questions on RBI Policies - around 5
  • SEBI KYC (options were - normal, standard, regulatory, statutory etc)
  • 3 questions on cabinet ministers (minority affairs, rural development,
  • law and justice)
  • Increase of Agri contribution to GDP
  • Mohiniattam is classical dance of - Kerala
  • Kudankulam power plant in which state - Tamilnadu
  • Djokovic won against whom in wimbledon final - Roger Federer

Quant: Easy to Moderate
  • 5 - DI - Very Easy

  • 5 - Series -  Easy
  • 20 - MISC - (SI, CI, Time n work, time n distance, boats n streams, geometry, Ration n proportions, Partnership)

Reasoning: Easy
  • Circular Arrangement - 5 - very easy
  • Puzzle (days n subjects handled) - 5 - very easy
  • Inequality - 5 - very easy
  • Syllogism - 5 - very easy
  • Blood relation - 2 - very easy
  • Data sufficiency - 5 - moderate
  • Series (no, symbols, vowels etc) - 5 -  very easy
  • Rest questions from - Misc section

English: Very Easy
  • Passage and Close passage (story based) - 25
  • spelling error - 5 - very easy
  • sentence correction - 5 - easy
  • Para jumble (story based) - 5 - very easy
Computers: Moderate
  • 20 - 25 - easy and rest questions requires more time n they were bit tricky.

    Maths not so easy in terms of calculation part...
