My center was about 90 minutes far from my home so left very early and reached at center around 12 in noon, though we were allowed to enter in center at 1:30 exactly since morning session paper was going on.
To start off with, we all candidates were asked to sit in one common classroom at 1:30 where our ID cards, along with admit cards were verified. (one ID card along with xerox copy, remember to carry original)

Our exam started at 2:30 exactly. After reading reviews of people here, I had already decided to attempt DI section at last keeping 45 minutes for it.
I started off with GA and could able to manage answer 21 questions accurately in 12 minutes
Some questions were
- Private bank who launched branch in shanghai china - Axis bank
- Srilanka won Asia cup by beating - Pakistan
- India at risk author - Jaswant singh,
- Full name of IDFC
- Leander paece has been awarded - Padma bhushan
- Wheels on chair system launched by which bank
- NATO summit will be held at - UK in sep 2014
I don't remember much now, some basic questions from computers, being engineering graduate, this was cake walk for me. Could able to answer almost all questions.
I was not good at all with marketing and neither had much preparation so I avoided questions on it. Students with preparation in it can easily attempt i guess.
I then switched off to English section and answered 18 questions, I started off with last 10 questions which are fill in the blanks of passage. You can easily attempt 10/10 of it if you get overall idea of passage, just read it once or twice with good understanding and 10 marks are yours. I attempted 8 of that.
Rest questions i attempted from synonyms and antonyms from passage. i guess 2-3 were there. I then attempted 1 small passage.
After attempting 18 questions i had total 85 minutes with me so i switched to reasoning section.
I started with syllogism questions 41 to 45 since i was very comfortable with it. mix of questions in it like "possibility" , either 1 or either 2 follows like that.
I attempted all correct.
Then i solved one small puzzle like 7 subjects organized by university on 7 days of week. after arranging them correctly I could attempt 5 more questions on it.
Then there was one question like M is shorter only than L, P is shorter than q and taller than s. Height of tallest is 20feet, height of 2nd smallest is 8 feet something like that, then 5 questions on it which was very easy.
so total 15 attempted so far. I attempted 2 data sufficiency questions after it. One was finding the code for word ( coding decoding). Second was based on sitting arrangement and this is where i made mistake in attempting this question for 1 mark sine it took more than 5-6 minutes of me to arrive at conclusion. After that 1 question on inequality which was easy based on given data. (total 18 so far)
Meanwhile, other questions were from sitting arrangement. 8 people along CIRCULAR table with in and out sitting with their designations like doctor and blaa blaah....
I skipped it.
One on 8 people sitting in line with north south....I skipped it ;)
Then when i checked my clock it was around 42 minutes left so I jumped to DI .
I just went through all questions in mere 3-4 minutes to check which to attempt and which to leave. DI was very very difficult with loads of calculations in single question. You will find 1-2 question in every DI simple (comparatively I mean...like normal questions) so I attempted these questions first. I could attempt 13 questions only but with accuracy.
My total attempt was 70 only :D
21 GA, 18 eng, 18 reasoning and 13 DI
And people who are saying they have attempted more than 120 question with accuracy, hats off to them :D

ReplyDeleteits not wheel o chair ...
Deleteits BANK ON WHEELS --- started by ICICI
I could attend only 8 questions from DI. i thought its not going to do help so i marked all the 50 questions. 😉
ReplyDeletesame with me wheteher blindly marked answer work in any way as considered the negative marking
DeleteCan u post last year sbi clerk question papers for practice ....... thanks in advance
ReplyDeleteDis is onlyn xam,,,, by ibps,,,, kya wo normalization krenge marks mei to bring all to same level,,, like dey do in ibps po n clerk,,,
ReplyDeleteeverybody saying di was very tough koi bata sakta hai how much they have prepared and practice for di so we can also assume our performance
ReplyDeleteA Di was like 6 publications (M,N,O,P,Q,R) with each of them have total publication , ratio of academic non-academic publications ,% of distributed in distributors & 1 more part in that tabulation.....
Delete1 question of the di was Find the % of M,O,P 's Academic publication with respect to N,Q,R 's Non-academic publications. You can now figure your skills hope you practiced it well my friend . so you might attempt more in this section. 80-85% of questions in di was like this & All The Best 4 your exam buddy.
EVEN I WROTE SBI PO EXAM YESTERDAY MORNING IN BANGALORE. THE QUESTIONS WERE ALL EASY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PREPARED ONLY ONE WEEK PRIOR TO MY EXAM. BUT THE MAIN THING IS TIME MANAGEMENT. I DID ALL WELL EXCEPT D-I CUZ I WASTED TOO MANY TIME IN ANSWERING ALL THE VERY EASY ONES. MY SUGGESTION TO ALL WHO ARE PLANNING TO WRITE NEXT WEEK IS THAT START WITH GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, EVEN IF YOU KNOW MOST OF THE QUESTION, JUS ATTEMPT MAXIMUM 12-15 ACCURATELY FROM EACH SECTION AND COME BACK LATER IF HAVE MORE TIME AT THE END. AND YOU WILL SURELY PASS. ALL THE BEST.
ReplyDeleteAttempted 126 Questions. 40 (GA), 36 (Eng), 29 (RA), 21 (DI) with 90 % accuracy.... (Kerala). Any Chance????
ReplyDeletebhai tu to select ho gaya
DeleteThanks buddy for suggestions

ReplyDeleteHi all,,
ReplyDeleteI attended Afternoon Session On 21st Jun. Paper was easy in English , General awareness and Reasoning and was very hard in DI.
I could attend 35 in GA and 35 in Enlish 23 in Reasoning and only 11 in DI.
Even though I started DI 35 minutes before I hardly could solve 11. (with 80 to 90% accuracy)
What would be the cut off...?? Is der any chance for me...?
Guys who are appearing next week, prepare well for DI and try to attend all the sections above 15 questions. Because cut off for each section would be above 13. So prepare well.
All the best. And please mention cut off if any one knows.
Thanks for your reviews. Please share reviews for descriptive paper as well.what were the questions asked for descriptive on 21st june exam.
ReplyDeleteThank you
ReplyDeletecan anyone explain what is economic order quantity....
ReplyDeleteIn sbi po,Data interpretation was very tough, more calculation and time taking,we can attempt only 15-20 que.
ReplyDeleteEconomic order quantity is the order quantity that minimizes total inventory holding costs and ordering costs. It is a model used for minimising the cost of inventory.
ReplyDeleteREALLY , the DI section in second shift is tough i hardly solve 20 out of 50..bt in all other i ans above 30 with full accuracy..
I have attempt sbi po exam on 21 june morning secession, questions asked in exam was gk was medium level. at lest we can collect 20 marks.(do good preparation of gk and computers to get 25 marks with 90% accuracy) enlgish depends on your grip on english and it was same as exam patent. In data interpretation question was only from tables and charts but it has consumed my all time it was too long practice, third section I have attempt reasoning, in reasoning question was interesting and it was just time consumer you can solve near 25 if you have practiced input out-put, statement and conclusion, seating arrangement(must practice on question like A B C D E seats in circular and A is 2nd right from E, and B is born in March, you have to match 3 criteria, this questions will must like this), etc and in DI and try to attempt just 20 to 25 question with 90 % accuracy and leave it. dont try to attempt all questions first try to clear all section and try to attempt 25 to 30 question from all section, If you have even remaining time you need to work in reasoning and then DI.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for ur reviews
ReplyDeleteThanks to all
ReplyDeleteThose who have problem in Syllogism, trust me, its very simple. U just have to learn to draw venn diagram. Only one diagram based on statements will be enough and then apply simple logic as to what can come and what cannot. 95% questions can be attempted like this only. Only thing to note, if there are two non-valid conclusions with subject and predicate being same, just check if either of these conclusions will follow.
ReplyDeleteGuys I am having a serious prob in syllogism specially in possibility........can some plz tell me from where i should learn these syllogism in possibility cases if anyone have good video of syllogs in possibility cases then kindly favor me..i am really suffering from these syllogs and my sbi po xam is on 5.07.201 plz help me///////////
ReplyDeletecan we use keyboard during the online exam
