    hello sir i have my interview on 18 feb for ibps clerk3 i completed my graduation 2011 nd from then onwards preparing 4 bank exams nt even pursued higher studies if in interview they ask abt gap nd y nt pursued higher studies then how should i convince them? plz reply

      say them the truth "i am trying for bnks ll these years." these are not software companies to think u wasted time but they will feel u will never leave this job so its an advantage to you.

    MY INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE FROM ODISHA : MOTILAL PRADHAN
    Name : MOTILAL PRADHAN
    Qualification : M.COM
    IBPS Score : 80
    Cut Off Score : 47
    Interview Venue : UCO BANK
    ZONAL OFFICE
    C-2 ASHOKA NAGAR
    UNIT-II
    BHUBANESWAR-751009
    Panel : II
    Date : 11/02/14
    Time : 01.00 pm
    I have reached the venue at 12.30 pm. There were around 50 fellow aspirants. Many of us nearly standing 30 minutes outside the bank because of bank strike. At 1 pm, we are instructed to go inside the bank and to the respective panel. They told us to arrange the documents as per the mentioned order. After verification my turn came at 4 pm.
    I entered by asking permission, they said come in.
    There were 4 members of which 3 male and 1 female.
    They told me to sit, I thanked them and seated comfortably.
    Then they asked me each question in local language i.e. odiya language.
    M1 : M.COM first class ?
    Me : Yes Sir.
    M1 : Tell us about Balance Sheet ?
    Me : I told.
    M3 : Period for the Balance Sheet ?
    Me : Sir, 1st April to 31st March..
    M2 : Read the news paper
    Me : I read which was local language.
    F1 : What is the other name of Balance Sheet ?
    Me : Final Statement/ Annual Statement
    F1 : Good, tell the function of a clerk ?
    Me : I said and also told them about my friend who is serving in Indian Bank as a
    Clerk.
    M1 : What is the function of a bank ?
    Me : I replied
    M3 : If you are serving as a clerk in a bank and if you got Rs. 5000 more, what will you do ?
    Me : I replied and they satisfied with my answer..
    M2 : What were you doing during leaving the college and today.
    Me : I replied. I was preparing for competitive exam. I had cleared IBPS Clerk in 2012 also. But due to my less percentage in interview and written exam, i was not selected. My score at that time was 50.40.
    M1 : Thank you Motilal. You may leave now. All the Best.
    Me : I thanked everyone and leave the interview room.
    I had maintained eye contact and smile with each panelist through out the interview..

    I gave my interview on 19 feb at Noida.gen category.118 no. From up.101 cut off.gave answer of 10 out of 15 questions.plzz someone tell me what are my odds for final selection.i m very tensed.

    my interview was quiet different from others as i was not asked any question related to banking or my studied subject by interview panel.
    All the questions related to my work experience in the field of trade finance and Export and import.. panel was not friendly they were firing at me one by one.

    hoping for the best waiting for final cutt off. dont know what it will be?
