- Ballistics - the study of objects that are shot or thrown through the air, such as a bullet from a gun
- Clinch - to manage to win or achieve something by doing one final thing that makes it certain

- Liaison - the exchange of information between people or organizations, so that they understand each other and work well together
- Contentious - causing disagreement between people or groups
