The Italian Open (tennis) tournament for the year 2017, also known as the Internazionali BNL d'Italia and 2017 Rome Masters was recently held at the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy from 15th to 21st May 2017. This is the 74th edition of the tournament. Germany's 20-year-old Alexander Zverev became the first player born in the 1990s to earn an ATP Masters title after defeating Serbia's Novak Djokovic in straight sets.
