Friends, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) [Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF),  Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)] for the year 2017. There are 179 posts in total. The recruitment will be based on a written test which is scheduled to be held on 23rd July 2017. The last date for online applications is 5th May 2017. Note : Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

Vacancy Details :

• BSF - 28 Posts
• CRPF - 65 Posts
• CISF - 23 Posts
• SSB - 63 Posts

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree of any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.

Age (as on 1st August 2017) : Should be between 20 - 25 years

Selection Process : Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 23/07/2017 by the UPSC followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

• Rs.200/- for General and OBC
• No Application Fee for SC / ST / Women candidates
