The 8th BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) was hosted by India from 15th to 16th October 2016 at Taj Exotica hotel in Benaulim, Goa. The focus during India’s BRICS Chairmanship was on enhanced people-to-people (P2P) contacts of BRICS member states, especially youth. In this context, India has planned various activities like U-17 Football Tournament, Youth Summit, Young Diplomats’ Forum, Film Festival etc. In line of this 8th BRICS summit, India has also hosted various meetings, conferences.
