Meet the new MD & CEO of Corporation Bank - JK Garg

The union government has appointed J K Garg (Jai Kumar Garg) as the new Managing Director (MD) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Corporation Bank. He is going to replace S R Banksal who has recently retired on 31st January 2016.

A chartered accountant and also associate member of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Garg prior to this appointment was executive director in Uco Bank. He had started his career at Corporation Bank in 1986, and would head the bank for three years.  Garg has experience in credit management, recovery, forex operations, retail banking and administration.
