Friends, the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) is recruiting clerical staff for the year 2015. Graduation is minimum qualification to apply. You should be able to read, write and speak Tamil apart from English / Other Languages inorder to apply.  You can apply online from 11th March 2015 to 31st March 2015. Check complete details below. Eligibility Criteria :
  • Educational Qualifications :
    • A Graduate (Arts, Commerce & Science), other than Engineering category, with minimum of 55% marks or a Post Graduate, from a recognized University in regular college course with knowledge in Computer Operations. OR
    • An Engineering Graduate with 60% marks from a recognized University in regular college course with knowledge in Computer Operations.
  • Age :
    • for Under Graduates :
      • General : Should be born on or after - 1st March 1991
        MBC / BC :         Should be born on or after - 1st March 1989
        SC / ST / PH :         Should be bornon or after - 1st March 1986
    • for Post Graduates :
      • General : Should be born on or after - 1st March 1989
      • MBC / BC : Should be born on or after - 1st March 1987
      • SC / ST / PH : Should be born on or after - 1st March 1984
Important Points to Note :
  1. Students who are awaiting final semester result may also apply (Check notification below for complete details) 
  2. Graduation from Open University and Correspondence courses are not eligible.
Application Fee :
  • for General : Rs. 300/-
  • for SC / ST  : Rs. 150/-

    My humble request to banking aspirants..
    pls don't apply this bank..
    This is a private bank..
    They are conducting the exam for revenue generation & also they select only the particular community candidates.. I had the experience, u can easily get selected the other exams than this... Don't waste ur time & money....

    Guys it is waste Recruitment they wont publish result officially, dont waste your valuable time to this bank... Even We cant able to know our marks and result date.

    experience...dont apply for this save your money.

    Don't apply to this bank. They do it for their own benefit. They only select particular community. Waste of time and money as well.

    Friends just apply for this. Every year 2 times tmb recruit 300 to 350 members each time. Now this time vacancy increased bcoz of internal promotions for clerk to officers. I am working in tmb for past 1 1/2 of year. In my point of view there is no community preference. Join here and prepare other bank exams. Including myself

    U only should tell about the south Indian bank after the recruitment process is over..
