Dear Friends,

I am Vandana Dahia from Chhattisgarh. I have been selected in the recent SBI Assistant Exam from Chhattisgarh. I want to share my story of first selection.

First of all I would like to give gr8ambitionz people a big thanks for helping me achieving my Goal. The Study  material posted by you People are always upto date & is available well in advance for every competitive exam (like all updates of Budget 2015 is available as soon as it was out)

I have also cleared IBPS PO , IBPS Clerk, RRB Officer & RRB Office Assistant. For all this I thank God, My Parents & My Mentor Mr. Tarun Kumar Srivastava for supporting me always & showing me the way to success.

I am MBA in Finance & Marketing & at present working as Relationship Manager in Dynamic JCB Pvt ltd. Along with my job i started preparing for Bank Exams in June 2014  & joined Coaching for it. I had my written Exam of SBI in August 2014 & interview in Dec 2014. For interview Preparation also Gr8ambitionz was a big help. Infact I got to know about my result from Gr8ambitionz site only & so definitely wanted to thank the team.

I am General Category Student & so I am very glad to secure a seat amongst 68 seats of General in Chhattisgarh state of SBI Assistant.

A Few Suggestions for Fellow Aspirants
  • I would like to suggest all Bank Aspirants to be always Hopeful & be in regular touch with educational sites like Gr8ambitionz for regular important news.
  • Set a goal and work hard. People will always be there to discourage you. Don't listen to them.
  • It was a tough journey to crack exam along with doing my job, but I managed with proper planning. So nothing is impossible if you work hard with planning.
  • Plan well and practice regularly. Its not on scoring high marks, you have to clear the sectional cutoffs, so planning is more important to crack the exam.
  • Never lose your hope at any time.

    Sc category only.. last year in ibps po an sc category candidate has maximum score among all other categories and that person was appointed under sc category only. You can download the list from ibps site for verification.

N SO I ENTERED THE ROOM ASKD FOR THEIR PERMISSION .THERE WERE 4 MEMBERS IN THE PANEL . 3 M & 1 F. VERY NICELY SMILINGLY THEY ASKD ME TO SIT .& ASKED ME THE 1ST QUES. "TELL US SUMTHING ABT YOURSELF" I TOLD THEM ABT MY STUDIES MY HOBBIES & ABT MY CURRENT JOB & Y I WANTED TO COME IN BANKING SECTOR. THEN THEY ASKD ME WHETHER " I WOULD BE COMFORTABLE WORKING IN RURAL AREA " I TOLD THEM YES AS MY CURRENT JOB PROFILE ALSO GIVES ME EXPOSURE TO INTERACT WITH RURAL PEOPLE SO THAT WONT BE A NEW THING FOR ME. THEN THEY ASKED ME "YOUR PARENTS ARE ASSETS OR LIABILITIES FOR U" I TOLD THEM NO ONE'S PARENTS CAN BE A LIABILITY FOR NYONE N SO THEY R DEFINITELY MY ASSETS. THEN THEY ASKED ME TO TALK WITH ANOTHER MALE MEMBER IN OUR REGIONAL LANGUAGE(C.G). I TALKED WITH HIM. THEN HE ASKED ME ABOUT THAT" DAYS HEADLINES" I TOLD THEM A FEW THEN ANOTHER PERSON INTERRUPTED N ASKED A QUES. ABT "DHARMANTRAN " WHICH WAS IN NEWS THAT TIME ALSO. N ASKED ME THAT " OUR CONSTITUTION HAS A WORD SECULAR- WHAT DOES IT MEAN" THEN THEY ASKED ME ABOUT VARIOUS SPORTS ACTIVITIES IN WHICH I USED TO TAKE PART DURING MY SCHOOL DAYS (I HAD MENTIONED ABOUT MY CERTIFICATES IN BIODATA FORM GIVEN BY THEM) .THEY ALSO ASKED ME THAT AS I HAV DONE MBA I WUD LATER FEEL THAT CLERK IS NOT GUD FOR ME I REPLIED THEM THAT YES I WONT BE SATISFIED WITH IT ALWAYS N AFTER BECOMING CLERK I WUD TRY FOR PO /SO BUT AT PRESENT I WANT A SECURED JOB N CLERK WUD BE BEST TO START WITH. AT LAST THEY ASKED ME ABOUT MY HOBBIES IN DETAIL ASKED ME ABOUT RECIPES(AS I HAD MENTIONED COOKING & DANCING) ALSO ASKED ME TO SING A HYMN (AS I WAS A MEMBER OF CHOIR GIRLS IN SCHOOL) I SANG & THEN THEY ASKED ME TO SMILE ALWAYS & OFFERED ME TO TAKE A TOFFEE. :)

    I have given my interview in IBPS PO at Ludhiana PNB Bank, on 20 JAN,2015... It was very succesfull and only one question was belong to bank and others were General questions......
