IBPS Clerk IV Interview Experience of Anush (Chennai)

Hi all Gr8Ambitionz readers. I am a silent reader of Gr8Ambitionz website and love to read the articles and comments posted here. I appreciate the fantastic effort made by team which is continuously working hard. My sincere thanks to them.. :)

I am Anush. I just share my Clerk Interview experience here which was held on 14th February. It will helpful to other readers.

Venue : IOB, Chennai

Date : 14th Feb

Time : 1.00 PM

Panel : VI

I reached the venue by 12.30 PM. We are asked to assemble in 6th floor. Before certificate verification they gave us a white sheet and told to write 5 to 6 lines about any topic in local (Tamil) language.  After my certificate verification, I was waited in a hall for 5 hours, since I’m the penultimate one.

I entered the interview hall @ 6.20 PM. There were 5 members in the panel. Four male and one female member.

Me: I opened door and asked may i come in sir.

M1: Yes come in

Me: I wish them by Good evening sirs, Good evening mam

M1: Good Evening take your seat

Me: Thank u sir.

M1: Tell about yourself,

Me: Said for almost two minutes, about I and my one and half years work experience in Private Banking domain.
M1: When you completed B.E?
Me:  I said 2012.

M1: R you a dancer (Since I said Dancing is my hobby)?
Me: Said about my interest in dancing and my contribution in dance during my colleges and in Office.

M1: According to you, which actor dances good?
Me: Said “Vijay”

M1: Asked about my another hobby Cricket?
Me: Said about my participation in cricket (Some more questions asked from that).

M1: Tell about the Current News?
Me: Said about Delhi election, Cricket World cup, Ernakulam Train accident in Hosur. (But I forgot the palace, M2 gave clue)

M1: What in inflation?
Me: Said

M1: What is GDP?
Me: Explained

M1: (Satisfied) Ok you can leave.
Me: I said Thanks to everyone and left.

For me all the above questions asked by only one male and others all watching. Interview went for 15 minutes; I have answered and explained well.

I request all candidates to be frank and answers politely don’t give false answers. And also they will check your confidence level.

I hope these details will be helpful for you all.

    Hi frnds, I'm from tamilnadu sc category, expecting 100marks in clerk 4 and interview was good. What are my chances. Pls reply guys

    No we vl get our marks only after the final allotment the final marks will be published only after the final result so it may take one week to know our final marks...

    bro if u r talking abt ibps clerk u vl get ur written marks after interview ends I think interview vl end by 21st feb and within a week u vl kno ur written marks....In means of final marks u vl kno only after final result which means if u r selected u vl get a message as qualified in xyz bank and marks vl be recieved by u in next one week of final result...

    today only...it went for 10 to 12 mints..
    i m frm mechanical 2014 passed out...
    venue- Hyderabad
    panal 7
    the panel members(1F+3M) are very friendly...like our uncles..nd garandfather also...very cool

    my turn cme on 5'o clk
    R: may i get in sir
    F:yes plz come rithika
    R:good evng sir good evng mam..i wished separately..
    F:where are u frm rithika
    R:i said XYZ...etc
    M:what is ur father...
    R:i said,(meanwhile others are checking my certificates)
    M:ohhh.... u r frm btech..??
    R:yes sir..
    M:which branch
    R:mechanical...
    M:which clg..dont u get placements der..??
    R: i said sme resons..they were satisfied...
    M:ohh...u r distinction student frm a campus university.. thats gr8....congarts rithika..
    R:i said thank u..sir
    M:asked about sme banking questions..like..what r rrbs..??
    f i answerd..
    M:tell me the tracter manfacturng companies..??
    (i was shocked..what these qustn)
    R:i answerd...MAHENDRA,JHON DEER..etc
    he satisfied..
    M:again asked about.. some airlines companies..??? tell me some airliness..?/names..??
    R:i answerd some names...he satisfied( vistara,spicejet, jet airwyas..qatar airways etc)
    M:tell me about NPAs..?? and WHAT is EMI?
    R:answerd...he said k..
    M:tell me some car manufacturing companies,,??/ and origin countrys also..
    R: i said about top foreign brans AUDI BMW VOLKSWAGAN etc
    .nd some indian companis like MARUTHI,TATA etc..
    he said very good..told to other persn that i m good at these things..
    M:next tell the difference between COMercial banks nd RRbs..
    R:i was little strucked at these time..
    but finally answerd..
    i mean they are shiftng frm core to bank..nd bank to core..
    so i was confused some more..
    M:finally he asked about my personal deatils..siblingss.....
    R:i said..thay semms to be satisfied..
    M:r u tried fr any other exams..

    me answerd.....

    M finallu u may go nw..
    R: i said thank u..sir..mam..
    have a good evening..nd come out..

    so frnd sau me...
    hw was my interviw..

    110 ud be a safe score friend because the cutoff for tn sc is 87.

    or just work experience in months (no company details), as I can see in the printout?

    Did they asked u about ur resume....and is it necessary to bring resume there....as not mentioned anywer....

    Place: bank of india , noida
    date: 16 feb
    Panel: 8
    Qualification: b.tech ece
    shift: 8.30a.m

    my turn came at 12:15 p.m..there were 4 male n 1 female in the panel..
    me: may i come in sir
    m3: come in

    I wished evry 1, they told me 2 sit
    m3: what us dis beta, ur name..what does dis mean..
    me: smiling... told

    M3:k... tell me abt ur family...
    me: told

    M3: k... ur sister is in h.r... y cant she recruit u...
    me: it was vry hard 2 convince him

    M3:k... what is radar and sonar...
    me: (i was lyk wat i didnt xpct this questn)...
    Radar i told some how... sonar i said i dont knw...

    M3: what is exim bank?
    Me: i told the full form... he said no, tell its functns.. i said somehow... bt he ws nt satisfied

    M3: k... what is microcontroller?
    Me: replied
    All the others were silently observing...

    M3: what are the functions of banks
    me: told

    M2: what is cloud computing
    me: it is something related to networks.. i dnt knw sir

    M2: kk.. how many members r dere in rajya sabha..
    me: told

    M2: who is the speaker of rajya sabha..
    me: replied.. vice president

    M2: who elects him
    me: sry sir, i dnt knw..

    M3: did u write p.o..
    me: yes sir, bt i didnt clr overall...

    F1:are u lil bit nervous... den hw will u deal with customers...
    me: yes mam.. lil bit.. as am so serious 2 clr bank intrvw... am lil tensed...bt i will surely handl the customers well...
    M3: k beta... dnt b tensed... dese r part of lyf...
    den dey all smiled... n said... thank u beta... n all d best...
