SBI Clerks Interview Experience dated 8th December 2014

Hello guys,

               I'm Viknesh. I would like to  share my experience of SBI Clerks Interview which was held yesterday (8th December 2014) with you people.

P.S : I'm not good in English , try to ignore the spelling/grammatical errors.

Place : Coimbatore

Panel : I

Time: 12pm

We (Participants) entered the room at 12'O clock, First the certificate verification, After that they announced the order, mine was 12, So i went for lunch and returned back at 2'O clock,
The interview Panel consists of 5 members , 4 male and 1 female, The normal timing for one person is 20 minutes,,

To all 11 members ( Before me ) they asked about the general questions such as Native place, Fav foods, and Nothing from Banking Industry

So I thought that this will be the same for me, But I'm n't fully convinced.

Finally it's my turn,,

Its a small room so its tightly packed, And your every moment can be noted, And the usual cliche of female being the passive listener is been broken in my case ( She was the Head ),

Int 1 : After going through my profile,I listed " Cooking as my hoby ",  so every one  laughed ( I don't know the reason may be coz I'm a boy)
Ans : Sir, i don't have my mother so i have to cook ( Then they apologized to me )

Int 1 : You are a 2013 passout, so what are you doing since then,?
Ans : Sir, I was preparing for my bank exam

Int 1 : That's great why banking after B.E,?
Ans : Explained ( He isn't fully convinced )
           So i added there is an uncertainty of growth and future in IT field due to the recent growth in Banking sectors  ( He is fully convinced and stared to say more about it)

Int 1 : He asked about agriculture ad what % it involves i our total Economy, ?
Ans : I told agriculture is backbone of indian economy ( He replied that what i have studied, tell me about current scenario )
      I told its was 60% ( He told me then every body would be a farmer )

Int 2 : Tell me how to deal with Bad debt,?
Ans : I told him step by step, He seems to be convinced ( But not fully )

Int 2 : New technologies in SBI ?
Ans : I told him that SBI is going to release a new co branded credit card called "Style up" ( He didn't know this so i explained it further )

Int 2 : About lok adalat,?
Ans : Explained from top to bottom, ( He is fully convinced ).

Int 3(female) : She asked me about the securities for getting loan,?
Ans : Explained

Int 3 : She asked me about the criteria,?
Ans : Explained

Int 3 : Finally about small scale industries,?
Ans : I Said i don't know ( She explained )

Int 4 : About make in India,?
Ans : Explained

Int 5 : About Sbi life, Sbi card, Sbi general,?
Ans : I explained LIfe and general and don't know to cards

Int 1 : You may go now

My interview was the shortest one about 8-10 mins

And i left the room, I was not convinced myself,because i was taken aback, i didn't expect them to ask questions from core banking to a B.E student,  And personal interview for 10 mins.
I was cursing my luck why me,?
I know questions carry only 1.4 marks in your interview, But still..
I didn't want to agitate my fellows, so i told them its good and be prepared for Real-time questions
So if you are an B.E/B.TECH student please prepare for the banking related questions too,,
