Afternoon Shift Review shared by Jisha G. Nair from Kerala

Hai Friends,this is Jisha again...:D...gave RBI Assistant exam today (23-09-2014) afternoon shift .I didn't do special preparations...but after reading 2013 reviews i was focusing more on banking awareness..and did around 10 mock tests.I was down with cold...so couldn't prepare anything for last 2-3 days...Yesterday, just revised what I read for SIDBI exam.Exam started at 2 pm.

Computer Awareness

It was an easy section for me(i am from computer background)...but heard some candidates saying it as moderate-tough etc....still you can easily score at least 30-32 from this section...Just basic questions.Attempts-36.

General Awareness

I was a bit tensed as i couldn't read anything from banking much (i.e final round revision)...but to my surprise..there were questions from current affairs too....easy-moderate. I was focusing on accuracy too.....Attempted-26 (2 wrong). Friends, please solve all question sets from Gr8Ambitionz...even if you get 0/20 from here..don't worry....just read again and again..

English

It was an easy section.By that time,i was a bit tired  (I was surprised as i was having only very mild cold in the morning).....so for comprehension,i went all blank..:D....i was just clicking save and next for first 15-20 questions.....took 'rest' for 2 mins..:D....solved rest...again came back to 1...and changed a few answers.Attempted-37....almost all correct..

Reasoning

Just solve a few previous papers...nothing new....very easy...syllogism,seating arrangement(circular-inward),puzzle etc were very easy....Attempted all 40 from here...

Maths

I was very tired.But no way to quit.Started slowly.It was not an easy BODMAS based paper like 2012 or 2013 papers.You have to go back to all those arithmetic stuffs(time and work,average,age problem,partnership,CI,Boats and Streams,Pipes and Cisterns, Mensuration etc)...that too not very basic questions.No need of any tension....at least u will do something...DI was very easy,No. series was  easy.As i was slow in the beginning,i could do only 24...but one can do around 30..

Hi friends,   I am Supriya . Today(23 sept ) i have attended RBI assistant exam from Pune centre. Paper was moderate. You can score good with proper time management.

Questions related to NIC, Modem, MAN, BIOS, GPS, ALU, High quality printer, browser, page setup ,vertical alignment  etc

English
Grammar, para-jumble, Simple RC, Spotting error, cloze test same pattern as IBPS

Reasoning
Alphabet, Letter series, syllogism, Direction, Data sufficiency, coded inequalities, puzzle test(days and subject), circular arrangement.

Numerical ability
SI, CI, Boat ,train, time and work, partnership, Number series, Simple DI, Age, ratio, Proportion, Arithmetic simplification
