Hello friends...This is is Satyanarayana Maddimsetti. I have attended Today's (23-08-2014) SBI Clerks Online Exam (Morning session).Overall Exam was moderate.  Here are Some points about the exam

Quantitative Aptitude:overall quant is a bit tough for me
some questions are given in po level
data interpretation-5 marks


Reasoning:
This is not as expected.a bit tough.Seating arrangement was tough to solve
(given some facing centre some facing outside) 10 questions are from this.
 data sufficeiency is 5 marks .questions from greater than or less than are 5
other syllogism and blood relations.

English : English is very easy.one who has basic knowledge can answer this section

Computer and marketing aptitude :
Computers was soooo easy and marketing was tough.better to practice marketing aptitude papers

General awareness:
And finally GA.This section was moderate.Here are some questions asked in the exam
  • Revolutionary 20 20 book was written by------chetan bhagat
  • Novak djakovich belongs to which sport-------tennis
  • Jones trophy is related to-------basketball
  • North korea capital------pyang yang
  • Commercial paper is issued by --------actually it is companies.but in options commercial bank is there,so ans is commercial paper
  • Japan currency-------yen
  • Tribal affairs minister-------juan oram
  •  INS kamortha is prepared in -------kolkata
  • Oddman out in rbi functions-----issuing currency,inflation control,banker to banks,stock maket control----------ans is stock market control
  • Question about how much amount allocated to pradhana mantri gram sadak yojana in 2014-15
  •  International Justice day is on =--------17th july
Its better to prepare all international days,cabinet ministers,all capitals,all currencies,complete budget allocations for 2014-2015,railway budget, all the best...

    g.k---
    moderate, if u are following current affairs of last 3-4 months you will reach 20-25 questions
    english---
    pretty easy no need to say anything about this section, very easy, passage,cloze test and jumbled sentences all are tales..you can easily reach 25-37 questions in this
    maths---
    very tough...means you can crack 30-35 questions in this section but all those are very time consuming ones...i was able to do only 19 questions in 50 mins..
    reasoning---
    moderate---
    very trickily given problems, except seating arrangement, north-south seating arrangement , puzzles remaining all those are very easy in my opinion...you can reach 18-25 questions depends upon ur MIND PROCESSOR ( never waste your time on any single question in this section )
    mrktng and comps---
    dead easy section when compared with all the remaining sections...just basic knowledge enough to crack this section

      Questions based on square roots.. simple ones..
      Addition and subtraction of mixed fractions.. simple..
      Question on ages..
      Question on boats and streams..
      Questions from percentage.. One in simplification, one like increase in price after 2 years..
      5 questions from DI.. simple ones.. Just to find average ratio of two of them and all..

    How do they asj questions. Section wise or random questions from any section. Like 1st 5que from gk and then maths and again gk and then english . Or they 1st finish with one and then go ti the next. Pls reply asasp. Thanks.

      You can choose each section separately.. Not mixed up.. At the top of the screen you can see the sections and clicking on it you can choose any section as you wish..

      One question to select input devices.
      30,000 bytes = ? Options given 3 kilobyte, 30 kilobyte like that.
      Tape disk (not exactly this word) used for what purpose? options given storage, input, output like that.

      Which of the following will you use to access internet? (not exactly like this, but meaning like this ) Options given word processor, fozilla, etc.

    can anyone solve this???
    10 person seating in 2 rows facong each other...and 5 facing north and 5 facing south.L,M,N,O,P ARE FACING SOUTH and Q,R,S,T,U FACING south.
    S facing the person who is second to the right of P.there are two persons between P and L.T is facing the person who is immediate left of M.Q and U are immediate neighbours,and Q is not seating in the Corner.U is facing the person who is second to the right of O.
    P.S. this question is in 23 august exam. I spent 12 minutes but i could not solve it.please show me the solution.

    It was very tough exam, like PO level,

    Dimag kharab kar diya and made me disheartened.

    i was confident about this exam but Paper came like bolt like from blue..

    But i gave my best some how :(

    The study material provided here for SBI clerk exam is very useful.. You will get some base on Marketing and banking awareness topics if you do read the material and go through the question sets..

    My friends gave earlier sessions exams and there's were atleast 20 to 30% easier than ours. I hope SBI evens out this injustice.
