Okay guys, I was very sad after my exam today but then thought that moving on is the best solution.
My reporting time was 1.30. The best part of the day was that the infrastructure of the center was awesome - fully air conditioned and comfy seat. Anyway, my attempts are:
English - 40 ( two long passages..had to skip one and few other questions I was unsure of. English was easy I would say.)
General Awareness - 42 ( I don't remember any question so cannot really help you out with them.)
Reasoning - 24 only ( Reasoning was easy-moderate. I got stuck in an arrangement question, which took a toll on my attempts)
DI - 14 only (questions were doable but very calculative)

Total = 120 attempts

Coming to descriptive part - It was freaking easy
- letter to the editor regarding underage drivers causing menace.
- A paragraph on - Something like "Right age to start teaching English"
- Comprehension was very easy.
- Precis was the toughest of all - "It was based on accrual accounting and going concern concept" ..
- Essay - Something like "it is we who can improve women's condition in this society"
Overall, I am disheartened. I have lost my chance. All the best to other who are yet to give exam.

Evening batch exam on 28th was Really tough.
Even GK was tough. It has mostly marketing and that too was different from what we generally study.
My attempts are as follows:
GK = 35 (I am sure of 28-30 answers)
Reasoning = 25 (All correct)
English = 37 (Max 1-2 wrong)
DI = 18 (All correct)
So Total 115. I don't know if I will get selected :/

ReplyDeleteif SBI is putting marketing question with deeper knowledge then they should published the detailed syllabus of marketing with reference books in their advertisement otherwise only MBA student will be benefited by it.
ReplyDeletelike computer section marketing should be also of basic nature.

it was a horrible paper..english was very tough.di as usual out of the world.gk moderate but still confusing and Gi was like do i need to have deeper knowledge of some things and 3/4 puzzle,3/4 sitting arangement in blodd relation took my whole time..very difficult dan previous year..

U are SBI PO topper..congrats bro..But I doubt u may join or not..!!
DeleteAndrawala, attempted 137 means U may score around 90 or 60 or 30 but not FULL, better u start preparing for IBPS. U dont have any chance to get in and finally anyone don't call to this number.

i attempted these 90 questions in 78 mins after i jumped on DI section.. hardly i could solve any question in 37 mins so i did all 50 questions and marked B (B for bhagwan coz only he was able to save me) in last 5 mins . i did this because i knew that i was not gonna clear the sectional cutoff so i took a chance.. thats it... it was really terrible experience

ReplyDeleteHi friends... am preparing 4 rbi grade b exam. Was solving 2011 question paper, found puzzles very difficult. Thèse r so time consuming. Plz help me by providing some links so that I can solve more and more. Have solved from r.s.agarwal's reasoning book. Still yhese r mre difficult.

ReplyDeleteAfter giving so many mock tests and finally SBI PO ,I don't know the answer of some of these questions:-
ReplyDeleteWhy I can't find a relevant study material/mock test esp. for Reasoning and DI.The current materials are nowhere close to actual bank exams(PSB) .I esp. bought a CAT book but it didn't help me in solving puzzles and sitting arrangements.I really don't know who will help me?
Suggestion:-
IBPS (who conducts these exams) are going through tremendous innovation and pace.Books/study material/websites finds it difficult to understand the actual exam difficulty and pattern.I don't know the suggestion.
Very true bro.. am facing the same problem. I have the capability to answer 45 ga questions with 90% accuracy, bt these puzzles are out of range. Dnt knw from where they r bringing puzzles. Admin plz help regarding this. Rbi exam is the only hope after sbi fiasco.

Marketing questions were very deep.
Einsteen also couldnot solve this DI paper in time.. it was very tough as a maths student i could slove only 12 question in 50 mins..

I am sure The cutoff would be around 70 ..with DI sectional cutoff of around 8-10 .

ReplyDeletehi frnds , i attend exam on 29 june eve sesion. The paper was so lengthy . In my paper GA nd english was quite moderate type but reasoning was so tricky and time consuming .the real devil of exam was DI section , it was panic . If i try to solve the problems of this section ,i am sure that i can't solve this alone in 2 hour time .The question was not only lengthy but also the charts and graphs in the paper was not clear . It was very difficult to understand the values in that graphs .I don't know what will be the cut off for this time in the exam but i can easily say that it will be quite less as compared with the previous year . My expected cut off is approx 70-80 in objective and 20 in discriptive paper . So the final cut off for interview will not be more than 100 this time.
