  5. Last year when I checked my marks...there was written that minimum qualifying marks for general are 80 and minimum marks whose descriptive paper was checked were 108...whats the difference...I didn't get it???

    1. 80 min qualifying means a candidate should score atleast this much marks=(minimum requirment).

now 108 marks were used for next stage= no. of candidates required (eg seats=100, then candidates required for next stage(intrv+GD)=100*6 = 600 approx) which they got merit wise & thus obtained 108 as lowest score. Hope it helps.

    3. Its not monthly income but its an annual income ,if family income is less than 6 lakh then it should come under non creamy layer otherwise creamy layer.

  19. Govt has a list of castes/surnames who fall under OBC-non creamy. they get the reservation. the creamy layer does't. Its only based on caste one belongs to.

  30. minimum qualifying marks out of 200,sc/st/pwd....10 marks?!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. neha i'll explain this with an example.

If you scored 80 Marks out of 200 marks paper, Then only your second paper (English) will be checked.

then your marks will be added and if you scored 20 marks in that you are eligible for GD and PI.

but eligible doesn't means you will be called for the interview.

At the end of the checking procedure many candidates will be disqualified. and only the top scorers will get interview calls. THAT SCORE SHOULD BE 151. OK ??

  50. In context of 2013 SBI PO cut-off for general,If at least 108 marks required to score out of 200 to get descriptive evaluated then what is essence of saying "80 is minimum marks for qualifying out of 200".So is it wrong to say 80 is cut off..Rather one sud say 108 is cut off out of 200.Please someone clarify.

  51. If I get an interview call and my interview does not go too well. Then do i have a chance of placement if my written marks are on the higher side of the cutoff?
