ReplyDeleteVacancies were 1400.
Deleteshivani mam past year u gave one data interptation small pdf file did u have that one please give link on that particular file mam
ReplyDeleteLast year when I checked my marks...there was written that minimum qualifying marks for general are 80 and minimum marks whose descriptive paper was checked were 108...whats the difference...I didn't get it???
ReplyDelete80 min qualifying means a candidate should score atleast this much marks=(minimum requirment).
Deletenow 108 marks were used for next stage= no. of candidates required (eg seats=100, then candidates required for next stage(intrv+GD)=100*6 = 600 approx) which they got merit wise & thus obtained 108 as lowest score. Hope it helps.
While filling the form for SBI PO my surname got typed twice....and I am not able to change it since I made the payment online...'Please suggest what to do
ReplyDelete151 marks are only of objective paper aur both the papers objective as well as subjective

ReplyDeletewhat is the difference between obc creamy and noncreamy layer.give clear explanation
ReplyDeletethose candidiates whose monthly income (family) goes beyond 6 lakh ,they come under creamy layer in obc..
Deletethe are a number of castes under obc.. some come under obc-non creamy. its only based on caste that is based on surname. Govt. has a list of such castes/surnames which fall under obc-nc (non-creamy)
DeleteIts not monthly income but its an annual income ,if family income is less than 6 lakh then it should come under non creamy layer otherwise creamy layer.
DeleteGovt has a list of castes/surnames who fall under OBC-non creamy. they get the reservation. the creamy layer does't. Its only based on caste one belongs to.
ReplyDeletei am b.tech(EEE) graduate. should i mention my stream as btech or eee in sbi po app please reply to my question

ReplyDeleteHi.... i want to know ki i dnt hv exp in n i am applying for sbi po or if i cleared both the exam then is there any chance to select? or they select to only b.tech or mba candidates as i m just b.com only.....plz reply
ReplyDeleteThanks for suggesting in detail about the cut off marks .
ReplyDeleteif 80 is minimum cut off and descriptive cut off is 20 marks then80+20=100 then 151 is what?
ReplyDeleteobjectve cut off is 80 and descriptive cut off is 20 then 80+20=100 then what is this 151??
ReplyDeleteit mean...2013 k exam me 151 marks par surity thi... interview call aane ki...
Deleteif u get minimum marks it does not imply that you will get call for gd pi because descriptive papers of only those candidate have been checked who got above 108 in objective ppr..so to get a call u must have 151..acc to last year data..hope it helped..
Deletemin qualifying marks looks like simple thing ..though u got min qualifying marks ...they will call t candidates who got higher marks(top 1/3 or 1/4) basis.
DeleteTotal Vacancy:3

Selected candidate name and score:-A(165),E(170),J(151)
The last selected candidate scores 151,So the final cut-off becomes 151.
Note:-Cut off consideration is done by the exam taking authority (they may use some method/logic for it or it may vary with the Number of Vacancy).
I hope you understand.
minimum qualifying marks out of 200,sc/st/pwd....10 marks?!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteneha i'll explain this with an example.
ReplyDeleteIf you scored 80 Marks out of 200 marks paper, Then only your second paper (English) will be checked.
then your marks will be added and if you scored 20 marks in that you are eligible for GD and PI.
but eligible doesn't means you will be called for the interview.
At the end of the checking procedure many candidates will be disqualified. and only the top scorers will get interview calls. THAT SCORE SHOULD BE 151. OK ??
will the objective and descriptive test for SBI PO on the same day?
ReplyDeletemam in each individual section the marks needed is 10 or 13, then for 4 section out of 200 we need only 40 - 50,on what bases the overall cutoff is 70..

ReplyDeleteIn context of 2013 SBI PO cut-off for general,If at least 108 marks required to score out of 200 to get descriptive evaluated then what is essence of saying "80 is minimum marks for qualifying out of 200".So is it wrong to say 80 is cut off..Rather one sud say 108 is cut off out of 200.Please someone clarify.
ReplyDeleteIf I get an interview call and my interview does not go too well. Then do i have a chance of placement if my written marks are on the higher side of the cutoff?
ReplyDelete25% of Interview and 75% of written is totall'ed so if u score really well in written and u just pass in interview u might still go through :)
