Important Notice about SBI Specialist Officers Recruitment 2014

Friends, the State Bank of India (SBI) has revised the dates of it's specialist officers recruitment for the year 2014. As you know, earlier the bank has announced that the on-line registration of applications will start from 17th February 2014 (today) to 6th March 2014. But today, in a new notice released by SBI, it has stated that the online registration rescheduled to start from 19th February 2014. The remaining dates are same.

Revised Dates :
  • On-line registration of application : 19th February 2014 to 6th March 2014
  • Payment of fee : 
    • On-line - 19th February 2014 to 6th March 2014
    • Off line - 21st February 2014 to 8th March 2014
  • Date of Online Test : 19th April 2014 
  • Downloading of call letter for Online test : 10th April 2014 onwards

      No record available friend. But they will consider if you can manage to get higher marks than those of computer graduates with experience..

      If you don't want transfers, then you should go for Clerical jobs in Nationalized banks friend. You can go for PO jobs in Regional Banks too.. There your transfers are limited to your region only..

    There is no syllabus given in sbi notification.. So can we expect same as ibps it officer or some modification for it specialist officer..

      We're working on the syllabus based on last year's reviews friend. We'll try to post it soon. And yea, it will be almost same as IBPS IT Officer's syllabus.

    hello, in the application form for IBPS SO 2014, we have to mention the duration of course. I hv done BE (CS). i hv taken 5 yrs to complete the course (the regular course is of 4 yrs). Should i write 4 yrs or 5 yrs in course duration. plz help. I have work experience.

    For Next 2 year there is no opening in the SBI for PO and for clerk(?). it is declared by official HR team of SBI in Indian Express, Loksatta news paper 20/02/2014. but SBI associate may be open there recruitment except SBH (may be merged)

    Guys..Dont waste your time..My uncle is MD in SBI & he told me that they will shortlist candidate with more than 4 years of experience. Its not rumor trust me. Better to buy books with these Rs.500

    Friends First see the advertisement clearly, For Systems experienced is required, where available is desirable which means they will give preference to experienced and also freshers can apply. But Preference for Experienced. So those who do not have experienced in relevant field have tough competition. moreover now a days banks filter candidates through percentage of their final degree. Last time IOB Specialist officer direct interview came where people with more than 80% are called for that. Even Catholic syrian bank asked for 85%. I am not sure on SBI. As Admin mentioned people without experience can apply but think before you apply as there may be tough competiton. They simply make money collecting 500 rs each and making crore. I am just giving my kind of thought. Also only BE, Btech, MCA, ME, MTech with computer science are eligible, no final year students are eligible. read the advertisement carefully before applying. Manager-Systems) the Mentioned the Experiance as "Experience in computer programming in a reputed organization, where available, would be desirable". but as I am not in Development background, I am having a doubt that whether I am eligible or not...     I am Venkat.I am planning to apply for the Post of Assistant Manager -Systems (SBI SO).
    Currently working in an IT comany as a Test Engineer.. My UG is BE-CSE(2009 passed out)
    In the Notification(Experiance Column)-They mentioned as "Experience in computer programming in a
    reputed organization, where available, would be desirable." But as I am currently working in Testing Domain, but Experiance seems to be development domain, whether I can apply for this post?

    I am a B.Tech Computer Science Finnal Year Student.Am I eligible for this job?my graduation will be completed in the month if June.There was No rigid rule mentioned in the advertise about it.

    howdy ? hope you may be fine. I was able to clear the sectional cut off of IBPS IT officer but was not able to clear the overall cut off.so I want to ask whether the pattern of SBI SO is same as that of IBPS SO ?

    I have done my Diploma in electronics and then completed my Bsc IT in 2011 with aggregate of 56% and my fall into SBC caste and now i am working in an IT Field for past 3 years .

    Just want to know For SBI SO (I) n (II) and IBPS SO (II) n (II) am i eligible ?
