Friends, here is another Interview Experience of Today's IBPS PO III Common Interview shared by our friend Sudheer. T from Andhra Pradesh. We thank him for his contribution and wish him great success in his interview. Read his interview experience in his own words. 

Hi friends..Im T Sudheer, I just finished IBPS interview today

Name : T.Sudheer

Education : B.Tech(2010)

Date : 2nd Jan, 2014

Bank: Andhra Bank, Saifabad 1PM(Panel V)

My Interview Session :

I entered and wished them good afternoon...there was a Madam and three Sirs. 

The first question they asked me to introduce myself and what did all these 3 years (I completed my B.Tech in 2010).....after that they asked details about my family.

After I finished answering the Question...they asked me if i attended coaching classes  and  i said them so and they asked the name of the coaching institute...and the lady was writing down the name of the institute (She may b maintaining a log of the coaching institutes..as to which coaching center sent how many)

Then one of the panelists asked me about banking and asked me to say what i know about banking..I hesitated a bit as to what he was asking and answered that banking is a financial institute which takes loans from the public and lends them to those who need(my answer was a bit lame..i know) and then he asked me to elaborate on what i said...then i told him that banking is a fastest growing sector in India...and told them about the types of banks...scheduled,public,private...so on...clearly he wasn't impressed..:(

Then Ma'am asked me how much i got in the online test...i told her that i got 81...(cut off for interview was about 50 i guess)...she clearly didn't seem to believe me...that only put me in an awkward situation...:)

Then one of the panelists asked me about consortium financing...answered him to the bestof my ability..that two or more banks come together to give loans to single borrower...and then he asked me something regarding this which i clearly did not understand and said i don't know...

Then another panelist asked me about Mortgage...i said the borrower pledges a property to get a loan with a promise to repay back after sometime....he then further asked me something about mortgage....i said i didn't know.....

Then to lighten the mood...one of them asked me if i had a bank account...i said i have SBI a/c...he laughed and said tht almost all of the ppl who came for the interview said they have an account with SBI...I didn't know what to say.....

The ma'am said that i wasn't answering the Questions properly and she did look a bit skeptical....all throughout...hehe...

Then finally they said i could Go....at this point of time...i knew i did terribly in the interview...hehe

MOOD : The Panelists were pretty relaxed and they talked in Telugu (to me and among themselves) quite often during the interview...didn't feel like a regular interview though....

CONCLUSION :  Overall i was surprised that they were so laid back.....mostly it went like a drawing room conversation......If only had i answered them confidently...i know they would have asked me a bit of GK and other stuff....I think i goofed up...:)

ADVICE : The interview was pretty moderate...except that the panel hasn't asked me many Questions...I'm OK with this Experience...Good Luck Guys!!!
