ReplyDeleteIf question is,
ReplyDeleteFind the number of arrangement of all 7 letters of word "MINIMUM"
1) the 3 letters M are separate
Ans : 4!/2! * 5C3
why not 4!/2! *5C3 *3!
plz explain mam.
have u got any reply? if so pls post it
Deletebecause the letters M are identical
Deletebecause the letter M is identical so no requirement of treating 3 M's as different .if the question was for arranging women or girl or men or boy then we would be treating them as 3 different pesons and taking 3! ways to arrange themselves also since 3 women or girl or boy or men cant be identical unless it is given in question.
