RBI Assistants Recruitment Notification 2013 - 525 Posts

Good News Friends, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced its recruitment notification of Assistants for the year 2013.There are 525 Assistants Posts in total. 50% in Graduation is enough to apply. You can apply online from 30th May 2013 to 20th June 2013. Check remaining details below.


Eligibility Criteria (as on 1st May 2013) :

  • Age : 18 to 28 years (Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/05/1985 and not later than 01/05/1995 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.)
  • Qualification : Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% Marks (Pass for SC / ST / PWD Candidates)

Important Dates :
  • Starting Date of Online Application / Payment of Fee : 30 - 05 - 2013
  • Laste Date to Apply Online : 20 - 06 - 2013
  • Last  Date for Payment of Fee : 24 - 06 - 2013

Vacancy Details :


Selection Process :
The selection will be based on Online Exam followed by Interview.

Online Examination will be of 200 questions and of 200 Marks. Duration of the Exam - 2 Hours
  • Test of Reasoning - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
  • Test of English Language - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
  • Test of Numerical Ability - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
  • Test of General Awareness - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
  • Test of Computer Knowledge - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4 th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
Online Exam Dates :
Online Exam will be conducted on Following Dates
  • 20th July 2013
  • 21st July 2013
  • 27th July 2013
  • 28th July 2013
Application Fee :
  • NO Application Fee for SC / ST / PWD / Exs / Staff
  • Rs 400 for General / OBC

    In notification they given as General awareness... that means No current affairs??? Can u pls clarify abt dis?

      Now a days the words Current Affairs and General Awareness are being used interchangeably Swathi. No exam directly ask you to prepare for Currrent Affairs. They just wil say General Awareness / General Knowledge.

      for General Awareness you should prepare last 6 months' Current Affairs, people n places in news, Sports terms etc.

      Sorry Amrita, you are not eligible for this time. Dont be discouraged. There are a number of new notifications are coming out by July (SBI Clerks, IBPS POs and Clerks). You can apply for them. Prepare well :)

    I am from Odisha, but I stay in Hyderabad. So is it like, I must know the Local Language of A.P(Telugu) to appear from Here. Or Still I can apply irrespective of the knowledge about the Local Language. Thanks in Advance Shiv Mam :)

      You should know the local language (reading, writing and speaking) Samir. They have clearly mentioned that in the notification.

      As per pt. (iii) on page 4 of the notification “ Candidates applying for post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language”. So you can manage the language you can apply for any state Aman. But the point is you can apply for ONLY ONE state.

      Actually the fact is RBI doesn't have any other branches except Hyderabad friend. SO you can only apply for Hyderabad only.

    Regarding The RBI Recruitment I have doubt thir nottificaton they are given in eligibilty criteria At leat a bachelor degree in 55% what my questinon is I was in below the 55% in UG degree But PG I scored more than 60% am elgible to apply for this
