  • Suspected Naxals opened fire on Congress' Parivartan Yatra, comprising senior party leaders, in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district today. Senior Congress leader Mahendra Karma killed and V C Shukla injured. Chhattisgarh Congress chief Nand Kumar Patel and his son reportedly kidnapped by Maoists. Congress leader and Former Union Minister Vidya Charan Shukla has received bullet injuries. 17people killed and 22 injured in this attack.
