Syllabus of National Insurance Company 2600 Assistants Recruitment Exam 2013

Friends, in this post we shall discuss the syllabus and the pattern of Insurance Company Assistants Recruitment Exam which is going to be conducted by National Insurance Company. The selection process consists of written test, Interview followed by Computer Proficiency Test. First of all you should attend the Written Test. Based on your marks they will call you for Interview. And later there will be a Computer Proficiency Test (we shall discuss about this test at the end of this post). Finally they will announce the final results by merging your written and interview marks. First lets discuss about the syllabus of written exam.

Syllabus of 2600 Insurance Assistants Recruitment Exam 2013

This exam is of 250 marks with 5 sections (50 marks per section). You should solve the whole paper in 120 minutes. The difficulty level of the paper will be little lower than Bank Clerical Exams. Now lets have a look at the sectional wise syllabus.

  • Basic Maths like HCF, LCM etc

    • Functionality of Computer 
    • Operating Systems DOS and Windows
    • MS Office Functionalities and Shortcut Keys (MS Word and MS Excel)
    • Internet Basics
    • Security Aspects for PC
    • Various Uses of Computer

 

Interview Preparation :

In Interview they just will check how you are interacting with people. Possibly this interview will be held in your local language itself. With a smile on your face and with basic knowledge on Insurance sector you easily can clear the interview.

Computer Proficiency Test :

The skill test in computer Proficiency in a qualifying test only. That means there are no separate marks for this test. They just will check whether you can operate the computer or not. Generally this test will be of 15minutes. They will allot you a system and will ask you to perform a task (Preparing Spreadsheets with the given details / Making a sample power point presentation / Typing a letter saving it and taking printout etc). Frankly speaking, they wont make you disqualify in this test until and unless you really don't know how to switch on or switch of the computer. If you are reading this post, that means you surely will clear this test :)

      Nope. Cutoff will be around 14 to 18 only.

      in adv. they have written "Total Marks obtained shall be
      proportionately reduced to a base
      of 35 marks (A)"

      What is this mam???

      They will readjust the 250 marks as 35 marks. In simple words 1 mark will be equal to 0.35 mark.

    I am Not afraid of Computer speed and its proficiency as i am Software Engineer mostly on hand with computers.....neither a worried about this exam but i am preparing for it seriously and would like to be a part of your company rest i leave to my hard work and lucky person i am :) ...       Sorry friends.. As this is for the first time NICL is conducting this exam we are unable to upload previous papers of this exam. We are working on expected model papers. Hope those will help you in your preparation.
