    1. Sorry for the late reply Rohit. We are unable to reach you due to some server problems. Now we got rid of them ....

Well, the answer for your question is... you should convince them that you will stick with them till the end of the world... So you should say them that you don't have interest in IAS / Some other Govt sector job. Because one of your uncles work in Banking industry(don't say the same bank name which you've attended for interview ;) ). So you developed passion for bank job. And tell them that you heard that you can easily get promotions with your hardwork. Hope this helps...
      Good Day

    1. If you have lower percentage in your Graduation.. you can show that to them as the reason.
If you have good grades then better tell them that you are fascinated about Bank job because here you can get more job satisfaction and JOB SECURITY (main)... Don't mention salaries, because salaries in Banking are lil lower than Core jobs...
      hope it helps

      Good Day :)

    3. also why do u want to work in this bank....?
for all banks we prepare answers.. but only for a pirticular bank..? wat ans should we give.?

      Delete
    4. Don't say them that your's is the best bank sort of stuff. Waise bhi they never gonna believe you. Just say them that it is ONE OF THE best bank so you would like to get placed here.

      Delete
    5. @ arent you over Qualified ?

Yea... its lil tricky question Prince... If you face this question in clerical interview... its really difficult to convince the interviewer unless and until you have worst grades in your degree (so that you can show them the grades and say them that, "sir, this is the best option I've got with my lil marks"

If you face this question in POs, you can explain them how you will help the organization with your skills...

usually bank people wont prefer recruiting over qualified candidates because they may leave the bank if they get suitable jobs. So be careful while answering this question. Make them believe that you never gonna leave the bank.

    1. You should say "Yep sir/madam I have", otherwise it may lead to negative impact on you and they may think that you are careless.

Then they will ask you How you prepared?
you just say that you've updated with all the current happening things of banking (remember, if you are saying this means you should be ready for the questions they gonna shoot you) and also say that you've refered their official website and studied about their organization (you have to do this before appearing to the interview)

if we r engineering students.....how can we convince them when they ask ambition of life

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Frankly tell them that the JOB SECURITY is the main reason. You can mention two three examples of recession too...
If you are technically sound you can coin some terms like helping India's economic growth etc (but this may lead to more questions)

  6. hi,recently i heard that they will ask questions on hobbies so which type of hobbies will make positive

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You can say Reading Books and Music etc.. But do lil homework before saying about your hobbies. Or else they may ask you questions on this area. If you have no idea, then better option would be saying MOVIES. Infact you can answer what ever question they ask you about movies.

P.S: Its advisable not to say your hobbies like Cricket, Cards etc

      Delete
  7. Can we say interacting with the people as one of the hobby ?..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Good idea, but sometimes the interviewers may think that you may waste time by chatting (interacting) with others. If you want to say Interacting as your hobby, you should convince them by saying "With Whom you Interact, Why you Interact and How you Interact"... It may leads so many questions... Right?

    1. What is your percentage in MBA friend?

      Delete
    2. Well, in your case you cant convince them that you dont have any other option (because you have first class in your Mastars). So better tell them a story that your uncle is working in so n so bank (don't say SBI) so you have passion about this job. You did MBA for your father's sake. Now you choose this to build your career. Because here you can get job satisfaction as well as job security.

Note : They surely will ask you that "Why don't you go for POs?"
just tell them that cracking SBI POs is little difficult fr you so you just want to start as a clerk so that you can easily get promoted to POs (its fact)

    mba-65

should i tell them that i have done MBA.. ??
and if they ask that i have 66% in graduation and i should go for PO's or would i g for PO.. then what should be my answer..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, to be frank its lil difficult to convince them with your MBA degree for Clerical job Tarun. They will fear that you may leave the Job if you get another relevant job related to your Qualification.

PO is always better option than clerks. So you can tell them that you will work hard in the organization so that you could promoted as a PO in the same Organization (bank)

Then they will ask why banks???

1st start with Job Satisfaction (why banking?) then just describe what you've learnt from your course ... For this don't mention ur Zoology subjects.. Just say that you've learnt Patience, Leadership Qualities sort of stuff (better try to relate them with your topics in an effective way)... Tell them a story that your so n so relative has been working in a bank so you had passion on Banking Job from your childhood... etc

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well there is no need to prepare all your 40 subjects Kanika... The basic knowledge of your core subjects is enough (in your case OS, DBMS, Computer Networks, Compilers, Basic Programing Skills etc). And remember one thing, the interviewers too wont have good knwoledge in your core subjects. SO basic knowledge is enough to convince them. No need to go into deep.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, the main thing is they just ask you questions on your branch subjects to estimate your understanding levels and communication skills. I dont think the interviewers have good knowledge on either Electronics or Instrumentation... They just will ask questions on basics (something like, what is electornics? how do you think its useful to our society... why you have choose this branch? y u came fr banking after this etc.. no need to go into detail...

Just take what ever certificates you have with you. They just will have a glance on them and will return to you.. And about the gap, jst frankly tell them what exactly had happend (as you described here). Nothing is wrong in that.

ANd they may ask why banking after call center job... Jst tell them that here you can get good recognization and job security...

I am karthik from andhra.general cateogry
I have scored 111 in IBPS clerks -3 exam from tamil nadu....where the qualifying mark for general is 80.
DO I HAVE A FAIR CHANCE TO GET A JOB ??

I am writing NCFM (nse certification in financial markets) in banking sector module,a certificate exam to make sure that i have interest in banking as i am from B.tech(EEE).will this be useful??what i mean is to show the interview panel that i am completely interested in banking field.will this satisfy the panel or may raise too many questions ??

I have finished my graduation in 2012 ,worked as a trainee engineer in a private company for 5 months.shall i show this or just say that i was looking after my dad's business which i did too ??

thanks a lot madam in advance.
