  • Random - chosen or happening without any particular method, pattern, or purpose
  • Petitioner - someone who organizes or signs a petition asking someone in authority to do something
  • Anxiety - a nervous or impatient feeling that you have
  • Banked on something - to depend on something
  • Freedom of expression -  the right to express your opinions
  • Curtail - to reduce or limit something, especially something good
  • Reiterate - to repeat something in order to emphasize it or make it very clear to people
  • Distinguish - to recognize the differences between things
  • Adjudicate - to make an official decision about a problem or disagreement
  • Uncertainty - a nervous feeling that you have because you think bad things might happen
  • Emergency - a situation in which a government takes action to deal with an event / problem
  • Disclaimer - a written statement in which a company or person says that they do not take responsibility for something bad
  • Factual - based on facts or containing only facts, rather than theories or opinions
  • Functionary - an official who works for a government or a political party, especially one with unimportant or boring office duties
  • Convincingly - in a way that causes someone to believe that something is true or real
  • Show someone in a bad light - to make someone seem to be a bad person
  • Merrily - without knowing or thinking about problems or dangers that exist
  • Prevalence - existing very commonly or happening often
  • Exercise - to use your power or rights
  • In accordance with - in a way that follows a rule, system, or someone’s wishes
  • Oriented - mainly concerned with, or directed towards, a particular group, activity, or situation
  • Presumably - used for saying that you think something is true based on what you know, although you are not really certain
  • Depict - to describe someone or something using words or pictures
  • Fantasy - a pleasant, exciting, or unusual experience that you imagine is happening to you

  • Asymmetry - lack of equality or equivalence between parts or aspects of something
  • Offset - to balance the effect of something, with the result that there is no advantage or disadvantage
  • Cardiac - connected with your heart
  • Pulmonary - relating to your lungs
  • Perspective - a way of thinking about something
  • Scaling-up - to make something larger in size, amount etc than it used to be
  • Non-communicable - that cannot be passed from one person to another
  • Subsidy - an amount of money that the government or another organization pays to help to reduce the cost of a product or service
  • Expenditure - money spent by a government, organization, or person
  • Consonance - agreement
  • Determinant - something that controls or decides how something else will develop or what result it will have
  • Epidemic - a situation in which a disease spreads very quickly and infects many people
  • Incongruous - strange because of being very different to other things which happen or exist in the same situation
  • Oversight - the job of checking that a process or system is working well
  • Ethical - involving the principles used for deciding what is right and what is wrong
  • Rational - based on sensible practical reasons rather than emotions
  • Protocol - a set of rules for the correct way to behave on formal occasions
  • Procurement -  the process of buying supplies or equipment for a government department or company
  • Periodically - in a way that is repeated after a particular period of time
  • Provision - the act of providing something that someone needs
  • Audit - an official examination of the financial records of a company, organization, or person to see that they are accurate
  • Viability - ability to work successfully
  • Comptroller - someone whose job is to look after the financial aspects of an organization
