  • Under scrutiny - careful examination of someone or something
  • Deploy - to use something

  • Concern - a feeling of worry about something, especially one that a lot of people have about an important issue
  • Administrative - relating to the management of a company, organization, or institution
  • Safeguard - to protect something or someone from being harmed or having problems

  • Diagnostic - identifying a particular problem using a combination of signs and symptoms

  • Despite - used for saying that something happens even though something else might have prevented it
  • Bettering - to improve something
  • Instability - a situation that keeps changing, so that you are worried about what might happen
  • Cold war - unfriendly relations between countries who are not at war with each other
  • Peacemaker - someone who tries to help to end a war
  • Reach out to someone - to offer help to someone
  • Dial down - to reduce the level of tension or intensity in a situation
  • Desperate - needing or wanting something very much
