Govt offers Plastic Aaadhaar Card with Security Features

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), statutory authority of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has recently announced that it is now offering PVC Plastic Aaadhaar cards in the form of visiting cards with a number of new security features like Digital Signed QR Code and Hologram. The cardholders can apply for this new PVC Aadhar cards online following a few simple steps and paying an amount of Rupees 50/-. The card will be sent to the owner via speed post. How to Get new PVC Plastic Adhar card ?

• Visit the official website of UIDAI - https://residentpvc.uidai.gov.in/order-pvcreprint
• Enter Your Aadhaar number.
  
• Enter Security Code shown in the website.
• Click on Send OTP button.
• Then you will receive an OTP from UIDAI to your mobile.
• Enter the OTP received on mobile phone in the given box.
• A new page will be open containing your basic details. You need to check the details are correct or not.
• Pay the fee of Rs. 50/- online.
• A reference number will be given to you to check your application status.
• They will send the card via post.
