The aspirants are voicing their opinion that instead of just two languages, English and Hindi, theInstitute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) should conduct recruitment examinations for participating banks in local languages too. They are also demanding that 'Only a candidate proficient in a Local Language' be posted in a state.
When did the 'ResolveIBPS' Trend Started ?

Now, even though an essential qualification for application to Regional Rural banks is that the applicant should be proficient in a local language, the preliminary and/or main examination for selection is conducted only in English and Hindi. This puts a candidate who fulfils all other eligibility criteria including that of proficiency in local language but is not proficient in English and/or Hindi at a disadvantage.
Notification prior to 2014.. @nsitharaman ji, Please bring back old recruitment rules. #ResolveIBPS#YuvaBrigade@narendramodi @PMOIndia @ianuragthakur @FinMinIndia pic.twitter.com/9HyPME8nD6— Yuva Brigade (@yuva_brigade) July 1, 2019
Several complained that people from poor or marginalized communities chose to stay away from the nationalized banks because of the language barrier between the officers posted and the local population. Aspirants are also complaining about the lack of Mobile Friendliness of the official website of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). Here are some tweets by IBPS Aspirants 2019 with the hashtag '#ResolveIBPS'.

Respected @nsitharaman madam, in the last five years in rural banking sector out of 18k jobs Kannadigas have got only thousand! Those who cannot speak Kannada are failing in handling situations of rural population. You are the only hope now please #ResolveIBPS @yuva_brigade— Chakravarty Sulibele (@astitvam) July 1, 2019

Does a non local person need 1.5 years to learn the local language of the place he is working in ?? And upto that period it will be a tidious task to interact with the local customers #ResolveIBPS #YuvaBrigade— Savitha Kshatriya (@savithaMR) July 1, 2019
There should be a standardisation of the cut off marks in IBPS exam throughout India or else jobs will not be in the hands of native people. #ResolveIBPS #YuvaBrigade @narendramodi— chowkidar mahendra mn (@mahendramn5) July 1, 2019
Want to complain about IBPS ? You too can use the hashtag '#ResolveIBPS' to share your views.
