- Plurality - a large variety of people or things
- Rural - relating to the countryside, or in the countryside
- Handicap - a disadvantage that prevents you from doing something well
- Shaky - lacking the knowledge or skill to do something well
- Progressive - supporting social and political change that aims to make a system fairer
- Pursue - to follow a course of activity
- Contend - to claim that something is true
- Agency - a government department, or an organization connected with a government, that deals with a particular subject
- Curb - to control or limit something
- Commercialisation - to develop something so that you can sell it and make a profit
- Consistent - continuing or developing steadily in the same way
- Barrier - anything that prevents progress or makes it difficult for someone to achieve something
- Impose - to force someone to have the same opinion, belief, etc as you
- Expenditure - money spent by a government, organization, or person
- Exploitation - unfair treatment of someone
- Ultimately - used for emphasizing the main point that you are talking about
- Reform - a change that is intended to correct a situation that is wrong or unfair, or make a system work more effectively
- Revamp - to improve the way that something looks or operates by making major changes to it

- Play-acting - behaviour in which you pretend to be upset, injured etc in order to get sympathy or an advantage
- The likes of - a person, thing, or group similar in character or quality to the one mentioned
- Immortality - the fact of being immortal or being famous enough to be remembered for a long time
