Friends, the Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for SSC Stenographers (Grade 'C' & 'D') Examination 2017. The computer based examination for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade 'C' (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' (Group 'C' Non-Gazetted) in Ministries/Departments of Central Government, including their Attached/ Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over India will be held during 4th September 2017 to 7th September 2017. 12th Standard or equivalent is the minimum qualification to apply. • 18 to 27 years

Educational Qualification (as on 1st August 2017)

• Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.

Application Fee :

• Rs. 100/-
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with disability and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee

Selection Process :

• The selection will be held on two phases. 
• Computer Based Test : 
• 2 hours duration
• Objective Multiple Choice Type
• General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50  Questions / 50 Marks
• General Awareness - 50 Questions / 50 Marks
• English Language and Comprehension - 100 Questions / 100 Marks
• Skill Test in Stenography :
• Those aspirants who have qualified Computer Based Test are eligible. 
• In this test, they will check your Stenography Typing.
