Trick to Find Square of a Number

Hai.. SREE here... here i am giving you trick to find the square of numbers ... i think most of you have already know this method . if you don’t know read this. This is a simple method, by practising you can easily find square of numbers. Happy reading......

To find square of 32:

• Step 1: 2²=4; write as 04
• Step 2 : 3²=9;write as 09
• Step 3 : (3×2)=6, take the double of 6 ie 6×2=12
• Step 4 : add the numbers
• Step 5 : answer is 1024    

To find square of 78 :

• Step 1: 8² = 64
• Step 2 : 7² = 49
• Step 3 : (7×8)=56,taking double we get 112
• Step 4 : add the numbers
• Step 5 : answer is 6084

Hope you got the method... now we can find the square of 3 digit number...

To find square of 123:

• Step 1 : 3²=09
• Step 2 : 2²=04
• Step 3 : 1²=01
• Step 4 : (3×2)=6 taking double we get 12
• Step 5 : (3×1)=3 taking double we get 06
• Step 6 : (2×1)=2 taking double we get 04
• Step 7 : add the numbers
• Step 8 : answer is 15129

Is it too complicated?? By practicing it will surely became easy for you... don’t forget the order ....

To find square of 796:

• Step 1 : 6²=36
• Step 2 : 9²=81
• Step 3 : 7²=49
• Step 4 : (6×9)=54 taking double we get 108
• Step 5 : (6×7)=42 taking double we get 84
• Step 6 : (9×7)=63 taking double we get 126
• Step 7 : add the numbers
• Step 8 : answer is 633616

Now lets discuss how to find square of a 4 digit number.....

To find square of 2354:

• Step 1 : 4²=16
• Step 2 : 5²=25
• Step 3 : 3²=09
• Step 4 : 2²=04
• Step 5 : (4×5)=20 taking double we get 40
• Step 6 : (4×3)=12 taking double we get 24
• Step 7 : (4×2)=8 taking double we get 16
• Step 8 : (5×3)=15 taking double we get 30 { write 30 exactly below 16}
• Step 9 : (5×2)=10 taking double we get 20
• Step 10 : (3×2)=6 taking double we get 12
• Step 11 : add the numbers
• Step 12 : answer is 5541316
