Friends, here are the Solutions of SBI Associates Clerks Reasoning Practice Test (Set 1). Check the practice test from here and try to solve it on your own before checking these solutions. We will post more sets with higher difficulty levels soon. Happy Reading :)

Set 1 :

  1. Option 2 (J)
  2. Option 3 ; Each corresponding letter moves seven places forward.
  3. Option 4; 5, 1 and 7
  4. Option 1;  8th to the right of 20th from the right = (20-8) = 12th from the right = ©
  5. Option 3; If we drop the numbers, the arrangement becomes
    • E % R # A B I J @ H U © M * F $ W P N D
      • Hence * is 14th from the left.

Set 2 :

  1. Option 3; Both the arguments are strong but both can't be true at the same time. The sale will either be affected (as I Says) or not be affected (as II says). Hence, either is strong.
  2. Option 5; I is strong as school is the ground where we prepare for the future battles of life. II is strong because examinations kill our creativity, turning us all into mere clerks.
  3. Option 2; I is weak because reduction of work load of IT Officials is not too desirable a motive. II is strong because reduced tax collection will have a bad impact on state activities.
  4. Option 4; I is weak as it is an argument by example. II is weak because it is absurd. In fact, if maturity is really seen as a criteria, lesser maturity would be required when the choice is limited.
  5. Option 1; I is strong because reduced tobacco consumption is desirable. II is weak because such convenience is not desirable.

Set 3 :

  1. Option2; The bumper crop has led to the largess shown by the govt.
  2. Option3; (A) happened so that students could see more of the world. (B) happened so that the school may attend to other important tasks.
  3. Option 4; (A) has happened because of increased supply of fruits. (B) has happened because of decreased supply of food grains.
  4. Option 5; Both the statements seem to have a common cause - agitation on a large scale.
  5. Option  1; The fear of rain has led to the tournament being called off.

Set 4 :

  1. Option 2
  2. Option 3
  3. Option 4
  4. Option 2
  5. Option 1
  6. Option 5 (G)
