Review of RRB CWE III (IT Officer Scale II) exam held on 13/9/2014

Hello myself is Vikas Kumar from Punjab on 13 sep i attended RRB IT officer exam in evening session

Exam starts on 2:30 PM.But i reached the venue of examination at 12:30.They allows sitting in computer lab in 1:30 and after all formalities exam started on 2:30 PM

The duration of the exam was 3 hours and contains six sections

Aptitude
Reasoning
Computer Knowledge
Professional knowledge
Financial Awareness
English

I started with Computer Knowledge section and it was of easy to moderate level and most of the questions are from Microsoft Word and Excel. Completed this section within 7 minutes.

Then I moved to Professional Knowledge section, it was of moderate to difficult level for me because i am very week in programming concepts. Most of the questions are from java and ASP.net.

Note : Be prepared with basic programming concepts

Then i moved to Financial Awareness. Most of the questions asked from RBI related concepts and credit rating topics. Some of the questions asked deeply in banking.

Then the major parts came up where I was completely confused. Reasoning is full of puzzles, only solve one puzzle. One puzzle is from floor like number of persons living on which floor designation of person etc. Then one circle puzzle mix of facing at center and facing outside.

They asked indirect question from Ac and they don’t ask which is follow or not they ask to find the relation between them.The syllogism are comes from probability of chance follow or not.I done only 20 question

Then I came to math. DI full of lengthy and huge problems which required a lot of calculations and some questions came from area circle part and ratios. I could attempt only 22 questions.

Then I moved to English section which was quite easy. Paragraph came from topic "The Living Condition of Rural People and Government's Initiative to improve". I could easily complete all teh questions with synonyms and antonyms and then one para zumble . Done only 30.
