8th ans is little bit confusing...
ReplyDelete1 /2*(A+B+C)= 1/5
then how
1/A+B+C = 1/10 ??? please explain it....
1/A+B+C = 2/5 should come ryt?
anyone explain 4th sum,i cannot able to understand
ReplyDeleteshivani mam plz explain 4th question in easy way
ReplyDeletemam plz explain easily for this problem on your way:
ReplyDeleteA can do a piece of work in 7days of 9 hours each and B can do it in 6days of 7 hours each.how long will they take to do it,working together 42/5 hours a day?
it should be like
ReplyDelete2(A+B+C) = 1/5 & then you would get A+B+C= 1/10 & 10 days as required no. of days.
it should be like 2(A+B+C) = 1/5 & then you would get (A+B+C) = 1/10 & 10 as the required answer.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite easy. Just equate the work done i.e (10x3)/120 & the remaining work to be done i.e (10+X) x 2/200.
ReplyDelete(10x3)/120 = (10+X) x 2/200
where,
3 = no. of days passed.
120 = work done
10= No. of laborers.
(10 + x) = No. of labors required to complete the work.
2 = no. of remaining days,
&, 200 = remaining work.
I hope this shall clear your doubt.
A can do a piece of work in 7 days of 9 hours each and B can do it in 6 days of 7 hours each. How long will they take to do it, working together 42/5 hours a day?
ReplyDeleteplease tell me the trick for these type of questions.
let work require 126 units of work [ LCM of 7*9 & 6*7 ]
ReplyDeletethen A works @ 2 units/hr
B works @ 3 units/hr
together they work @ 5 units/hr
hrs needed if both work together = 126/5
days needed working 42/5 hrs/day
= [126/5] / [42/5]
= 3 days
------------
in the question no.5 how could (1/30)+(1/20) be converted to 3+2/60..
ReplyDeletei mean how 1/3 be converted to 2 and what is 60
ReplyDeletethank you....maam
