Hi friends, I am Mounika Rao from Hyderabad, one of the ardent readers of Gr8AmbitionZ. As yo know, important days is one of the expected areas of Competitive Exams, from which you will definitely get at least 1 question. Most of you might have already mugged up different sort important days' lists. But if you closely observe, we have two different types of days, one is National and the other is International.

Unfortunately some times, these days may lead you to confusion. For Example, take Youth Day. The International Youth Day was designated by the United Nations to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth, we observe this day on 12th August. But we celebrate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda (12th January) as the National Youth Day.

Inorder to avoid confusion, here I am sharing the list of most confusing days. Hope it helps :)

• International Youth Day : 12th August

• National Teachers' Day : 5th September
• International Teachers' Day : 5th October

• National Tourism Day : 25th January
• International Tourism Day : 27th September

• National Children's Day : 14th November
• International Children's Day : 1st June

• National Consumer Day : 24th December
• International Consumer Day : 15th March

• National Postal Day : 10th October
• International Postal Day : 9th October

• National Blood Donation Day : 1st October
• World Blood Donors Day : 14th June 

• National consumer rights day - 24th December
• World consumer rights day - 15th March

• National Cancer Survivors day - 7th November
• World Cancer day - 4th February
