International Affairs
  • The United States warned today that it was considering new sanctions against Russia over its involvement in the latest fighting in Ukraine.
  • The World Health Organization said today that the number of Ebola cases was increasing rapidly and could exceed 20,000 before the virus is brought under control, as the death toll topped 1,500.
  • Libya's toothless interim government, led by prime minister Abdullah al-Thani, announced it had tendered its resignation to the elected parliament, days after a rival Islamist administration was created.

  • Defence Ministry clears proposals worth over Rs 17,500 crore including for midlife upgrade of submarines.
  • Notwithstanding a better gender balance in the southern part of the country, child marriage has been found to be on the rise in Kerala in recent years, according to UNICEF.

    hii friends i have a query regarding sbi associate po exam, i belong to rajasthan but i live in bangalore, and i belong to OBC category my certificate is issued from rajasthan . can i apply from bangalore ?? will my obc certificate be valid for the interview ?? and one more doubt can we apply for only one bank or they will allot bank of their choice ?? plz somebody answer plz.

    No, your State obc certificate not valid for this exam. A separate national obc certificate format(only for non creamy layer) required. you should download that format from mhrd website or that was easily available at any tehshil/talluka. you can also download that format from ssc or upsc website.

    At the time of online form submission you should choose only one associated bank. it is advisable that choose bank carefully.

    Dont be panic. no problem with interviewer. but if you selected and posted at rural area or mobile area of andhra pradesh. you may be face some problem that in andhra pradesh very few people understand the Hindi as Telugu is there tongue language.
