Subjective Analysis :
- English Language : Almost similar to previous years' exams. But the difficulty level was increased. So the cutoff will be similar or little less when compared to last years' exams.
- General Awareness / Marketing / Computer Knowledge : Easy when compared to previous years' exams. A person can easily clear this section with the basic knowledge on banking, marketing and computers. Only 5 to 7 questions from regular current affairs stuff. So the cut off will be slightly high when compared to last years' exams.
- Reasoning : Moderate section. Questions were easy, but time taking. Almost similar to previous years' questions except Non-Verbal reasoning. So the cutoff will be similar to last years' exams.
- Data Interpretation : The main villain of the show. Time taking. Almost all questions are tricky, need calculations. A BIG NO for online exam. So the cutoff will be very low this time.
- Descriptive Test : No tricky questions. Same pattern and same cutoffs from ages.

ReplyDeleteThe country currency list is in the Quick reference guide of SBI PO. You can get it from SBI PO 2014 special above.
DeleteThey are not asking any currencies , State CM's , Awards & Honours , Books & Authors. So don't waste much time on these. Prepare well for Marketing.

ReplyDeleteGuyz n Girls do not ever worry for Cut offs while preparing or appearing for any exam. It will create more pressure & tension in your mind. The Great Sachin Tendulkar never thought before batting that I'll score a century today. I hope you get my point :) Just try to give it your best every time.

ReplyDeletei don't think so that cutoff will go that much low.SBI has only approx 1900 seats and cutoff will go above 100 for general category for sure.

less seats more will be the cutoff.Take ibps it officer as an example.
dude its cutoff for the evaluation for descriptive paper, cutoff to get GD/PI call out of 250 is 130-150 for general candidate.

Dear friends but we should try more and more to qualify it. Good attempts :g.s.-40 (15 min) eng- 35(30 min) Reasoning- 35(40 min) D.I. [Try to calculate mentally and before go through have a look it an entire question ] you will defenately solve 25 to30questions

Kya bolte ho bhai 10 -15 min?? Usse acha 2 min me tukka mar lo ..min 30 min lagega he paragraph bina padha answer galat he ayega ..2 paragraph me 20 marks h or rearrange bhi full padhna padega samjh ke so 30 min to minimum h

ReplyDeletebut for sbi exams, unlike ibps..just securing cutoffs is not enough for receiving interview call....they would call us only in a 3:1 ratio..isnt'?..some time ago in this site, i also read a post which said that the lowest ranked candidate called for interview last yearr had some 160-170 marks out off 250..is that true..i am confused..

Total objective mark will be 95 whose descriptive copy will be checked.
135 out of 250 is the mark to be called for interview.

ReplyDeleteI have attended the exams on 15 June. The English section is a little tougher than earlier and ddata interpretation is the biggest problem. To qualify one may need atleast 12 in DI. So attempt atleast 20 questions in it. GA is the easiest and can be finished in 15 mins. So ensure to attempt atleast 20 in DI and reasoning. English and GA can be dealt last. Remember there r 30 lakh aspirants. Cutoff ll be high.

ReplyDeleteMy exam is on 28th june and i am really worried about my gk section...as i have seen from the above comments that most of the people hav attempted more than 30 questions in this section...and my banking and marketing section is pretty weak....i have studied only the things which were present on this site.... it would be really kind of all the ones who hav attempted a heavy amount to plz suggest something...
Can any1 please let me know that how much marks I should expect in SBI PO Descrpitive as I was able to complete only essay(12 marks) ,application(10) and 4 unseen passage answers( 8 marks).and 2-3 lines of precis. Is it possible to clear descriptive cutoff…?

In context of SBI PO 2013 cut off(for general) out of 200---
ReplyDeleteIf at least 108 must be scored that descriptive will be evaluated then what is essence of saying that "80 is the cut off or minm qualifying marks out of 200".In this way there is no need of saying 80 is cut off,rather one sud say 108 is cut off.
In other way,When I've gone through cut-off sheet of 2011(SBI PO) just 86 out of 200 and 110 out of 250 required.
But in 2013 cut-off---80 out of 200,again 108 out of 200(that descriptive evaluated) then 151 out of 250.
Result kab talk aane ki umeed hai??

I belong to SC community, I attempted 103 with 90% accuracy but in DI I am able to do only 10 questions ( all correct though) , and also, except for the precise I did good in the descriptive paper...
