Grievance Description:Dear Sir/Ma'am This Regarding the NICL AO examination paper leak held in month of December. Earlier also NICL had to cancel the countrywide exam organized in September and schedule it for December 15, 22 and 29 across several cities since the exam paper was 'leaked' in advance. But It has been reported repeatedly by various newspapers that NICL AO re-exam paper was leaked again in December. But NICL has went deaf and blind to all such corroborating evidence n reports put up by the media and police...and continued to declare the result and has now scheduled the interviews from 10th of march' 2014. In Lucknow, TOI reported with a copy of the leaked question paper and cross-checked it with the help of observers at the centre located in Para area on Sunday morning. After a quick look, the observers and institute authorities said 30 to 40 per cent of the questions were the same as in Sunday's exam paper. Moreover, while coming out of the exam centre, at least 12 candidates said the numerical analysis questions set seemed the same as that in the leaked paper, while in the remaining three sections, over 50 per cent of questions were the same. Senior superintendent of police J Ravinder Goud said police have received a copy of the leaked paper and will inform NICL's personnel department in Kolkata. A day after reports of 'paper leak', National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) officials in the city forwarded the question paper to their head office at Kolkata for further inquiries. A report was also sought from the four observers who were deputed on duty at a centre in the city. After much hue n cry only 1 or two centers were cancelled and that too on other reasons ignoring the very fact that if paper were leaked it could have been circulated to pan India by these mafia in this age of advanced electronic communication.......But No action so far on paper leak case. Now recently on 4/03/2014 Patna police on Tuesday arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in helping students adopt fraudulent practices in national-level competitive examinations and seized Rs 18 lakh in cash from their possession. The four were arrested at the EduTech Online Examination Centre under the Kankarbagh police station area. They have been identified as Omprakash Singh, Raj Kishore Singh, Manish Kumar Jha (IT engineer) and Arvind Kumar (computer maintainer). Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj said that the arrested accused have admitted to have involvement in the NICL AO Re exam paper held in Dec 2013 and report has been sent to NICL, at a time when NICL is going to hold interviews from 10th march'2014. Under recent and aforesaid development, I would request our finance minister, MD n Chairman of NICL to intervene and order its good offices to keep the interviews on hold until a fair investigation is conducted through the competent authority like CBI, INORDER TO SAFE GUARD THE INTEREST OF HONEST AND TALENTED STUDENTS. PLEASE STOP AMPUTATION OF THUMBS OF TRUE TALENTED EKLAVAS TO FAVOR RICH AND AFFLUENT ARGUNAS.
