Interview Experience of IBPS PO III

NAME : Kiranmai

EDUCATION : B-Tech(2012)

DATE : 02/01/14

VENUE : Andhra Bank Apex college, Gachibowli, Hyderabad

PANEL : VIII (4 PERSONS ALL ARE MALE)

Entered inside at 12:45PM....at 1PM everybody left for lunch and came back at 2:15......my certificate verification was done at 4pm like that.....please carry semester wise marks sheets along with ur cmm and caste certificate should be in the format given in IBPS website...

My interview started at 5:45pm.....it lasted for about 15 minutes...said may i come in...and wished good evening sirs...they offered me seat...

These were the questions asked in my Interview...

  1. Tel me something about urself (said well)
  2. I said my hobby was playing badminton ....so they asked there is a badminton academy nearby...i said its in gachibowli...and he asked who runs it....i wasn't able to remember his name at that time and they gave me a hint like his name starts with p....then i got it and said its pullela gopichand(everybody started laughing)
  3. What is Sarfaesi ac t(answered)
  4. What is NPA (answered)
  5. What is the serious problem that the economy is facing- i said current acount deficit
  6. What is cad (answered)
  7. I mentioned that my strengths were leadership qualities and communication skills....so they asked tell me something abt ur leadership qualities with some example...answered well and he was impressed with my answer and said good..(told about my final year project)
  8. How can u suit urself in a bank...(answered)
  9. Aked my score...
They wished me all the best...and i left.. 

I tried my best and hoping for the best. All the best friends :)

      i said my communication skills helps in customer interaction and as im from a technical backgroud its an added advantage for banks growth....(remember if u say technical u should be aware abt ur subject also...)

    mam one request about interview....
    when interviewer asked question..then candidate required some time 5-10 second for thinking..at that time ,what should be position of our eyes...pls tell me

    Do you have to bring community certificate as well(minority)ie? Also, are consolidated semester mark sheets enough?

      it depends on ur written marks also coz written and intrvw marks will be combined...as anybody dont know the number of vacancies....just wait til the results are out...

    r they allowing lettr of undertakings as i dont hv degree pass certificate(original or provisional issd by unversty but hv one issued by my college). pls pls reply.

      s they r asking semester wise marks certificates also along with cmm...if u got od then its k if not provisional can be submitted...

      Is there any restriction that your Consolidated Marksheet shouldn't be older than 6 months...

    dont have caste certificate due to some delay in tehsil...but i have
    payment slip of obc certificate from tehsil....whether i will allow to

      hi..go to MRO office and request them to issue ur certificate early and tell the reason for it
      and already u have a payment slip for it,so show it to them and request them..

    hi i have doubt about interview of ibps po.. is it sem wise certificates are necessary.. i have cmm and provisional.. actually i lost my 2-2 certificate orginal.. but i have xerox

      You need to have consolidated mark sheet also.If it is not there you may give an undertaking that you will submit in a week or so.

    PLS HELP!! I mistakenly filled computer literacy as "Degree in Computer Operations" while I actually have BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
    So Would They consider it, or I will face any problem?? What can I do in that case?
    [P.S. : According to their corrigendum, computer literacy is not mendatory]

    hii...myself is saurabh....i m also shortlisted for ibps po interview...i want to asked u 1 ques......while filling my ibps online application for po....they have asked whether i have appeared earlier in ibps exam in 2011 and 2012....i have filled NO there,but actually i have giving the po exam in 2011 and 2012....i filled it by mistake....can u tell me this will effect my candidature for po interview for not.....i m very tensed abt it....pls reply asap
